The meaning behind the video is Beak betraying them. so at first they get captured but he goes back in time and correct his mistake and leaves them that is why he was missing in the table which looked like the "Last Super" and the chain is like: meaning his with "the bad guys" so in the end he saves them with the help of D.O and takes off the chain, (also there is a part in the video where Beak does not have the chain on)- which means he was good a long and pretending to be on the bad side

He just somewhere between average & below, I mean that's pretty satisfied & consistent. In terms of amount of lines, there are actually other member who got worse(ehm notably X & S). But I'm glad SM did give them more lines this time & VERY noticable screentime, especially in LO & Monster. Kai seems to abandon his position as a lead rapper, I mean 95% of his parts in recent album is singing lines. & he got so many compared to their previous albums.
