Kayak Fishing for Smallmouth on the Guadalupe River

- With the extreme drought plaguing central and south Texas we're limited to rivers close by with ample waterflow. This week we hit the Guadalupe River below Canyon Lake.
Targeting small mouth was my mission this trip, and things paid off.

Even though it wasn't your most prolific day as far as fish go, the fact that we haven't had any rain and it's been hot as hell, y'all had a good day on the water. Congrats on the new son!

I enjoyed your video. Looks like fun, i always say a bad day fishing is better than a good day at work. Im a fellow Texan, i know what your talkin about on the low water levels. Even the saltwater fishing water levels are at a all time low. Marshes are nothing but mud.

Got this one at academy... I've lost 3. Finally, I figured out a method to keep it attached to my kayak with a magnet and coiled chord. Rivers just eat nets if you aren't paying attention.
