In this video I check out the new X-Lock mount and show off it's features and I also test out the new cordless Bosch 18V GWX18V50PC brushless angle grinder featuring the brand spanking new mount.

Bosch nailed it again like the starlock
Just bought the makita xlock and changing the discs is miles better than using the spanner. Definitely a game changer

Ladies and gentlemen, you are looking at the new standard. Bosch has a good track record with inventing new standards like the T shank jigsaw blade and the SDS concrete drill bits. It's a shame I'm not a fan of their power tools now. I don't think they are well built compared to my older ones which were made in Germany. Hopefully, they licence this system to other companies soon rather than wait for the patent to run out like it did for Fein.
Makita are already licensing
i never use the tool you can hand release it but make sure you unplug or remove the battery before doing i do like the Bosch
I know many don't, that's why I mentioned it in the video and the downsides of doing by hand.

Thanks! At least the X-Lock wheels are backwards compatible so you can start building up your collection and be ready for when you actually do get an X-Lock grinder.
