    It sounds very different from other kinds of songs. The Mongolian songs are so beautiful. I would feel the peace, steppe, beautiful nature, relax, and feel like to be near the nature too.
    Or The Mongolian great compositor Jantsannorov or Sharav's sounds are unique in the world

      Because it is Khalkha or Traditional Mongolian and not the current Mongolian. It is an old language spoken in the the time of the Mongol Khaganate I believe.

      @stefanmilosevic8899 No man, it's the same language in same dialect. It's just that there are so many music genres there. In traditional songs, there are genres inside it.

      Last time somebody tried something similar (Soriah and his Tuvan throat singing) on America's Got Talent, he got booed out by the audience, and the judges were incredible assholes about it. Granted, he didn't put on much of a show, but it certainly didn't inspire much confidence

      Nina Dionisio No offense, but Mongolian language is too beautiful for translate it into English. I want translate it into English. But even English adepts can't do properly. I'm afraid of I might break it, so I don't dare. I wish you could understand it.

      @ninjaahjumma 9 років тому +6

      Gerelt-Od Gotsbayar No offence taken sir. I understand that translation does take away some meaning and will never do justice to what is being translated. And I don't have to understand the song to know that it is beautiful and for it to touch my heart the way it did.

    *Hymn of the Tes River* (Just translated, Enjoy!)
    From the Bulnai Mountains
    You wavered and flowed,
    With the sweet taste of sugar spilling over,
    Pouring down the ancient steppe,
    Oh Virtuous, ancient Tavan River
    [Chorus] x5
    Sandy Tes, Sandy Tes
    Silken Tes, oh Ancient Tes, oh God of Tes
    Destined to Uvs Lake you came
    In the pace of an ambling horse you came
    The drink of livestocks and families you became
    Oh Glorius, Tavan Tes River
    Gray-haired forefathers lived off on,
    Grace and fortune came bestowed,
    Ponds have settled and you have grown,
    Oh the rich and precious Tavan River!
    [Chorus] x5
    Sandy Tes, Sandy Tes
    Silken Tes, oh Ancient Tes, oh God of Tes

    This performance made me teary-eyed. In a world of mix of "modern and old" or "fusion," the group's reincarnation of an endangered atmosphere - a truth - is just so well-grounded. The drone was just so pure and void of hatred or fakeness. I assume that the performance can be extended beyond screen time, as most Asian music-speeches last beyond the usual mp3 track length.
    The Philippines has so much ethnolinguistic traditional music which unfortunately are being lost to memory. I envy and am happy that a team from Mongolia pursued this form of performance.

      Монгол орон-с минь эд баялаг шулах гэсэн тэр муухай хүмүүс огцорж эсрэгээр нь өөд нь татаж гаргаж ирэх хүмүүс гараасай билээ.

      Abigale Sun Let me just tell you that Mongolian food do not have exciting spices and foreign vegetables. It makes sense because their weather doesn't allow for agriculture. They do however have LOTS of Meat and Dairy products.
      You 'll see food made from dairy that you would have never imagined were possible. Including an alcoholic drink.

    • @fujiki21405
      @fujiki21405 9 років тому

      thanks for your explanation, I imagine about mongolian food must be include meat because they are nomadic people and I did I like meat especially lamb. then I think zeera is one of spices, isn't it?

    • @PhanteusZ
      @PhanteusZ 9 років тому +6

      Abigale Sun I have never heard or seen of Zeera in Mongolia. Authentic Mongolian food doesn't have much spices.
      Their lamb meats and everything are as pure, organic and natural as they can be. They are raised, grass fed, and slaughtered humanely and naturally. No crazy loads of chemicals, artificial hormones and antibiotics that go in American meat.

      Heyy I have nothing against Khusugtun Band.In fact I did like their act.What I mean is that I have mixed feelings when I heard the "Harry and the boys"I don't know if I'll laugh or not because it seems that some people who aren't that 1D AF only knows Harry.That's it.

      GrevenDi Ghaul Just noticed your reply. When I read back my comment, yeah it's like a hanging statement haha... My point is to tell everyone about the rainforest world music festival that showcase traditional music from all over the world and teaches audience(in workshops) how to play those music instruments or how to dance traditional dances/chants/rituals, things like that, in a village surrounded by tropical forest and a beach nearby, for a whole weekend. Imagine, you can learn so many new cultures, enjoy some music, good food, nice beach, green forest, warm weather, good people, good vibe. Ahhh, no drugs of course......
