I attended mass at St. Joseph in Springdale a couple of times at the end of last year beginning of this year when I was visiting NWA. This video was a suggestion after watching another video on UA-cam and I recognized Fr. Miskin in the screenshot for the video. You could say that Google, UA-cam, big data, or whatever brought me to this video based off my search history, location history, etc., but I believe that it was the holy spirit guiding me to something more in my life. This video led me to watching other vocation discernment videos and has me feeling called to be more involved in the church. My current and past situations may exclude me from becoming a priest but I feel drawn to at least pursue this call as far as I can take it.
Maybe you are called not to be a priest, but a lay member of the church or even fatherhood...so long as you be one that is faithful to Him & instill the faith in your children then that can be your vocation. The service for the Lord is not exclusive to priesthood or the religious life.

I used to be a loyal and faithful Catholic, even being an Altar boy for 3 yrs. I do miss the Mass but not the hate. I was treated like shit for 6 yrs in Catholic grade school by administrators and peers. I was verbally abused by nuns. I stopped attending Mass 30 yrs ago bc as a member of the LGBTQI plus community we arent welcomed in the church anymore. Jesus loves me why doesnt the church. I stepped foot in a church back in September for a Baptism and didnt see one happy Catholic walking out of Mass. The church needs to change their tune and stop hurting people. And they wander why church attendance is down 30%.

It's scary to see priests hugging and imagining all the damage and hurt they have done to young children and their families. We shall never forget you bastards!
All good Catholics, and all good people, were rightly appalled and horrified at the abuse some priests carried out. Equally appalling was the coverup by some in church leadership. Anyone who carried out the abuse or covered it up should rightly be prosecuted and will face God as their judge. Our prayers and support are with those who suffered or are suffering horribly under the priests who carried out such horrors. We must do all we can to stop this from happening in the future. But let's not judge the vast majority of good and faithful priests for the sins of other priests. No area of humanity is immune to this type of sin. It is not a problem with the priesthood, it is a problem with humanity and the evil that can come forth from the human heart. Are we to judge all teachers, pastors, dads, moms, uncles etc. for the sins of abuse toward young people that some teachers, pastors, dads, moms, uncles etc. have carried out? If we go by this standard, we are all guilty. The priests in this video have not committed any abuse. Most of these young men joined the seminary to show a true and good example of what the priesthood should be. They are equally appalled at what some priests have done. They are seeking to be the antidote. This is by no means a justification for any priests who have sexually abused others and is in no way an attempt to minimize the severity of the scandal. They are guilty and will face God and the legal system. But let's not judge an entire group because of the sins of a minority within their group. Let's pray for good and holy priests.

March, 2022 Thank GOD for our LADY of GUADALUPE; when I visited her Shrine in Mexico in Dec. 2012, and I was suffering at the time of "Sleep Apenea" I was healed really while still there - FRARNKLY, my first intensions were to honor her. †Also, when I prayed few Rosaries to help me to quit smoking cigaretes on May 17, 1998, she answered my prayers immediately, though I was SUPER skeptical at that time. †Truely, when I was inspired to recite one single Rosary in December 12, 2000, I was healed from my unbelief (Jn. 14: 1) - and I tried at the time first to pray OUR FATHER, but I couldn't remember the prayer; but GOD still saved me! I used to be a loyal and faithful Catholic, even being an Altar boy for 3 yrs. I do miss the Mass but not the hate. I was treated like shit for 6 yrs in Catholic grade school by administrators and peers. I was verbally abused by nuns. I stopped attending Mass 30 yrs ago bc as a member of the LGBTQI plus community we arent welcomed in the church anymore. Jesus loves me why doesnt the church. I stepped foot in a church back in September for a Baptism and didnt see one happy Catholic walking out of Mass. The church needs to change their tune and stop hurting people. And they wander why church attendance is down 30%.

Although I cannot tell you that the Church approves of sexual acts outside of a marriage between a man and woman, I can tell you that you are loved and God has a plan for you no matter what your sexual attractions may be. It's scary to see priests hugging and imagining all the damage and hurt they have done to young children and their families. We shall never forget you bastards!
All good Catholics, and all good people, were rightly appalled and horrified at the abuse some priests carried out. Equally appalling was the coverup by some in church leadership. Anyone who carried out the abuse or covered it up should rightly be prosecuted and will face God as their judge. Our prayers and support are with those who suffered or are suffering horribly under the priests who carried out such horrors. We must do all we can to stop this from happening in the future. But let's not judge the vast majority of good and faithful priests for the sins of other priests. No area of humanity is immune to this type of sin. It is not a problem with the priesthood, it is a problem with humanity and the evil that can come forth from the human heart. Are we to judge all teachers, pastors, dads, moms, uncles etc. for the sins of abuse toward young people that some teachers, pastors, dads, moms, uncles etc. have carried out? If we go by this standard, we are all guilty. The priests in this video have not committed any abuse. Most of these young men joined the seminary to show a true and good example of what the priesthood should be. They are equally appalled at what some priests have done. They are seeking to be the antidote. This is by no means a justification for any priests who have sexually abused others and is in no way an attempt to minimize the severity of the scandal. They are guilty and will face God and the legal system. But let's not judge an entire group because of the sins of a minority within their group. Let's pray for good and holy priests.

hi prolapsed, nobody is trying to hide the facts. I am so happy that all of that horrific stuff came to light and pray for all involved. It's a very sad chapter in the history of the Church and I pray for all those who have been abused or hurt in any way by clergy or anyone else for that matter. It is not the first time horrible things have happened within the Church and it likely wont be the last. There have always been wolves among the sheep. The truth is the Church is both divine and human. That human side will always be vulnerable to sin. It was from the beginning. This video is to show an example of what the true, good & holy priesthood is and serves as an antidote to the corruption and abuse. Let's pray and work for more of this!

Thank GOD for our LADY of GUADALUPE; when I visited her Shrine in Mexico in Dec. 2012, and I was suffering at the time of "Sleep Apenea" I was healed really while still there - FRARNKLY, my first intensions were to honor her.
†Also, when I prayed few Rosaries to help me to quit smoking cigaretes on May 17, 1998, she answered my prayers immediately, though I was SUPER skeptical at that time.
†Truely, when I was inspired to recite one single Rosary in December 12, 2000, I was healed from my unbelief (Jn. 14: 1) - and I tried at the time first to pray OUR FATHER, but I couldn't remember the prayer; but GOD still saved me! Also During my first Rosary procession outdoors in May 13, 2001, I saw Queen of the Rosary walking with us for 4-5 seconds; And she had long, dark, blue dress & absolutely attractive one.
†Since my conversion, I try NOT to miss attending Masses weekly or daily etc. And I pray the Devine Mercy Chaplet at 3:00pm,
and I NEVER missed.
†UNDOUBTLY, Reading & meditating on "Gospel of life" according to the daily readings is like my "daily bread" And I read the Bible from cover to cover 3 times since my conversion! (Is. 55: 10 -11). Also, I like to what some one says: every winter turns into spring. But "The fool says in his heart, "There is no God"(Ps.14:1)
† Unfortunately, many "Catholics don't know what they have, and Evangelicals don't know what they are missing!"
