      This is so cool! It is helpful in those cases , where there is too much of cutting and plastic body at time gives away. Thank you :)

    I love all of your projects! Some are going to say "these knives are so cheap, just buy one", but I totally disagree. We are a throw-away society, who has run out of space for such consumables. PLUS- this is a well-made and creative, easy, and practical project to take on. I love it and happen to have 1/16 steel and aluminum scrap to make one for myself. I need one for the house for boxes I receive regularly. Thanks for doing something also for our environment and for inspiring me to make one too!

    Gonna make this, i like heavy. Plus the blade grip is not very tight on those plastic ones and often slips. Thanks for the idea

    You can just hammer on nails to use as rivets?! Mind blown forever. I live off grid in desert, this is game changing.

    There is some skill involved to be able to build your self a tool that you use regularly. It’s hard to build a functional tool to begin with. Then another level building in suck a way you like the fit finish feel and how
    It
    Functions better then the store bought one. If done correctly one would be awesome. I think
    I will try to build one

    Now I’m making a note of these accounts. On the diy videos where it’s one person doing everything looks like perfect all in one take. And everything always lines perfect. Now these videos only have music plays and noises of tools no talking even the music is just beats. Now some channels are done by real people and some and 100% done by Some AI bot

    My only issue is that you should have used a Ball Peen hammer at 2:50, the "ball" side of a ball peen hammer is designed specifically to "peen" out metal, which in this case is a more ideal tool to accomplish a smoother, more uniform spreading of the end of the nail.

  • @unperrier5998
    @unperrier5998 2 роки тому +1

    Brilliant, by making it all metal you're certain to be electrocuted when you cut through a live wire. Darwin is in action :)

    The knife will be damaged when you open and close it, use a strong plastic piece between the knife and the body
