Last year Fr.James from St Francis Xavier Church had a party for kids dressed as saints and he distributed sweets to them. Parishioners donated the sweets for the kids. We were very happy to donate for a good cause.

It was blissful..yes Fr.Joseph... I fully adhere to your sermon...it was high time for all of us to know this.My birthday falls on 31st Oct and people used to ask me celebrating Halloween,which I also used to be a part of those celebration..but somewhere corner of my heart wasn't happy but went into words of friends..I have now stopped halloween celebration from this year and shall follow it religiously.Thanks father.

Halloween cannot be underestimated. .. our nursing home put up skulls and whatnot at Halloween and what a horrible shift it was ... especially on the floor that had them most ...the first floor ..one agency nurse who had previously loved the home said he was never coming back. Deaths , falls , illnesses , staff fall outs , catheters expelling , lift broke down , lights went out , the back corridor ...oh my. What a shift ... I think in a place like a hospital or nursing home we are very close to life and death ... ..
