Always useful to watch the process of others. Having a sequence of notes playing helps as you tweak, but I find sometimes after you stop the sequence and manually play notes you can get a different audio result… thanks for sharing

Yes 100% correct! I like to have Midi files playing while I'm developing the preset, then switch to playing a few notes/chords at a time to get a feel for how the modulation, Reverb, delay, etc. are sitting
