What do you think of Darwin's 2023/24 season?
Finishing aside he's been exceptional aside from the last month or so where he's lost a bit of zip. Improve his finishing and composure in front of goal and he'll be the best striker.

@@d10s32 I genuinely feel like people are overreacting… yes he missed a ton of chances but he gets himself into all the right positions to even have those chances. He’s only 24 and still has so much time to improve. If he can start converting even half of those missed chances, he will easily hit 15+ goals in the EPL. He wasn’t the only forward in the team that was missing a ton of chances. There is no guarantee that any replacement brought in will perform any better.

I just don’t think he has good enough attributes to be a quality player in BPL.
There are only 2 excellent attributes in him. Pace and shooting. No more. The rest are below par. His passing is terrible. His ball retention skill is terrible.
His skill set is terrible compared to his national team predecessors such as Suarez and Forlan. He is the worst in technical ability for Uruguay striker. So why are we keeping the worst? Lol..

Its obvious that we could get a striker that finishes better than Darwin but they will be nowhere near as good at everything else...I think you give Slot a chance to figure out how to get him to finish. Better to try and fix a singular issue rather than starting fresh.

his conversion rate was bad but ppl just underestimate and overlook his overall contribution on the pitch. he literally could do everything (except shooting i know) and his presence alone would already be beneficial for the team attack. i would say give him one more year before we jump into the conclusion that he is a flop

Make a compilation of Mac Allister being dispossessed, giving the ball away with stupid passes and stupid shot attempts that lead to dangerous counter attacks and often in goals, committing fouls with unskilled tackle attempts and just generally being ***. You will probably be surprised how overrated he is. If you don't think he is massively overrated then try it, just go through the videos and try it. You will struggle fitting all his moments of being Championship level at best this season into 10 minutes.
I agreed with you. Liverpool has been making poor purchases. Macaliisfer is just riding on Messi’s World Cup winner glory. Without Messi, Argentina may not even qualify for World Cup.
To me, he is just an average fringe player. Not in the same mould as Pablo Aimar, Juan Roman Riquelme etc…
