Great food and a good environment to eat in, it's been a long time since I've seen a waiter with white gloves. That desert was over the top. Thanks Sergey.
I miss Russia so much!! Love your videos. They’re a great way to show my Canadian husband what he has to look forward to when we finally make it over. Thanks for the excellent content!
A fantastic video presentation of an incredible restaurant with incredible food and service. Unbelievable!!! Kudos to the restaurant and Sergey Baklyov for bringing this presentation to the world!!!
Super superb vid Sergey...............I nominate as one of finest restaurants you've visited in St. Petersburg.............I shall dine there upon my tour of said city
I dined there in 1989 and it is my favorite place that I ate in this lifetime because of the history, the live music, and the artists drawing portraits outside the cafe.
Sergey, what a nice place! It looked expensive with the waiters wearing the white gloves and traditional garb and everything, but converting the prices on the menu you showed and everything, it is not expensive! That same place if it was here in the US would be open only to the very rich. Again, such rich history and culture! I laughed when you asked Ron if he was a spy, that was funny. Ron is lucky he gets to visit Russia! I hope he appreciates all of it and the nice people of Russia. I'm sure he does.
Wow, can't believe this popped into my suggestion... I was just able to revisit St Petersburg last week and during our day tour we had lunch here! Was a group set menu, but wonderful!
I really enjoyed the video and plan to duplicate your menu as soon as I can visit again. The menu that still uses the old Russian letters also was interesting.
I wish I could be in this cafe, very interesting. Before the American Revolution, men met in coffee houses to talk, politics,...so coffee houses were think tanks....idea for a break with King and country, started here. Thanks for this blog.
I like the Watch! I bought the Raketa Amphibia two monts ago... btw you should make an episode about the Raketa Factory. They are now at my hometown in Basel at the Baselworld!
I came across your channel yesterday. I have been enjoying your vids. I watched an older one were you did an apartment walk around. Omg the comment/visual about your bed😂😂😂😂😂 Must have been a way older video. Cheers
The River Neva looks as if it's still frozen over which is surprising for mid March. The restaurant looks wonderful. There's another restaurant in the area associated with Dostoyevsky, apparently the first high class restaurant to open in the city after the Soviet Union collapsed.
Russian Literature is amongst the finest in the world. My childhood would have been unworthy if I didn't get exposure to A Hero of Our Time, Mother....:)
Ronald's not cheap if he's always flying to Russia. That restaurant is interesting in itself if you like history, but that food looks so good. You'd expect inferior quality from the past. Those deserts are sexy, and I'm not a sweet tooth.
I suspect he will need to visit Russia often to get it maintained. I found the same with my wife's Longine Swiss watch which needed a lot of regular attention (but a lovely watch). Nowadays no-one uses a watch unless it is an ornament for display. Mobile devices are far more reliable.
A couple of days ago, I said. Sergey, what you need is 3,000 Patron and 3,000 subscribers. Now I see on this screen, you have 141,000 subscribers. Hahahaha hahahaha
Do you think Puskin ever envisioned a day when Zealot Communists would take over Russia and absolutely crippled it for over one hundred years? If he had been born later Puskin would have died in Concentration Camp after being starved and worked to death for the "Mother Land" like the other 20 million Russians Stalin Murdered...
Great food and a good environment to eat in, it's been a long time since I've seen a waiter with white gloves. That desert was over the top. Thanks Sergey.

Looks like a terrific place to visit, to see and eat in. Ambiance looks fantastic. Love it! Thanks for showing it to us. Nice watch as well.
I love Pushkin, and the food in that wonderful restaurant looked divine.
Greetings from St. Petersburg, Florida.
Hey Ricky, I'm in Citrus county🇺🇸

Namaste from India. I am a big fan of Russia Literature. Loved your video.

Reminds me on "Cafe Pushkin" in Moscow. This was really awesome. Both restaurants have a simiar style.
I like how you edit into the beat of your opening theme song. Very artsy! :)
Yes ,that was wonderful video .the food look so delicious ,thank u for sharing .very interesting history .god bless u.🌟

Dishes looked delightful. That berry sauce made it look even better.
The restaurant is amazing.
Such a beautiful place!! Thanks for sharing ;)
I looooove Pushkin! I'm actually so jealous of this video, awesome that yall got to eat at his favorite cafe :)
Awesome price for that delicious looking meal.👍😋
Beautiful place

Мы еще в 80-е с мамой туда ходили 😍😍😍

OH MY SERGEY! ALL THAT FOOD LOOKED SO GOOD. I AM HUNGARY NOW.
@Captain Ron sorry Captain Ron but i don't get what you mean by your question? Please explain a little?
@Captain Ron Opps! Misspelled HUNGARY FOR HUNGRY Captain Ron. Got you point. LOL!
All looked very top notch and delicious
Recently discovered your channel, great content .
Awesome 😊
I came across your channel yesterday. I have been enjoying your vids. I watched an older one were you did an apartment walk around. Omg the comment/visual about your bed😂😂😂😂😂

The cafe one for the bucket list
Very nice. You make me want to eat out.
looks like a nice place
Nice place to eat. Quick question how many cameras do you use to get all those angles?
Alex Pushkin also wrote adventure stories for kids and travel blogs. He was a cool guy 😎
Pushkin has an interesting life.

Music at the start gets me everytime
Russian Literature is amongst the finest in the world. My childhood would have been unworthy if I didn't get exposure to A Hero of Our Time, Mother....:)
The watch is for pilot of T160 stragetic bomber?
Ronald's not cheap if he's always flying to Russia. That restaurant is interesting in itself if you like history, but that food looks so good. You'd expect inferior quality from the past. Those deserts are sexy, and I'm not a sweet tooth.
Man, the experience with memorabilia is worth the rubles alone, throw in the delicious food and as Sergey would say “boyyy”
There’s the Russian House in Austin. Maybe you guys can visit there! Would definitely go if y’all go!
Do u take tourists for tour of Russia or suggest local guide / agency to contact for my family’s visit in June ?
That chicken and potatoes looked fucking amazing!
great cafe
Wheres the cigar lounge?
bomb's kitchen, don't worry about it
0:38 This is the first time I've seen video of an intersection in Russia that didn't involve a car crash!
Very supper funny, wow.
Sergey its your Russian language accent different than the people in St Petersburg? By the way what a nice and fancy restaurant!
very well done ! I enjoy leaning about Russia and its history. Is your friend American, he speaks very good English.
Ronald is definitely a spy, the question is for who?
The country that spends more money on war & spying than the next 10 countries combined
Jesus Christ, this is awakening the literary nerd in me.
I had to smile. Your Texas friend in the past likes to eat at really inexpensive places. Wow, he sprung for a $1,000 Russian made wrist watch!
I suspect he will need to visit Russia often to get it maintained. I found the same with my wife's Longine Swiss watch which needed a lot of regular attention (but a lovely watch). Nowadays no-one uses a watch unless it is an ornament for display. Mobile devices are far more reliable.
yummy
they still have pay phones?
я люблю Щи!
What's your favorite book Sergey?
I thought that was Rob Rosenberg from Vmyths for a second.
The Russian Bum has a really cool time piece!
@Captain Ron - I'll bet it get some looks and some (I want one also) from the fellow fly-boys.
💜👍
Interesting. The watch he has is definitely worth alot and will be worth more as Russia rises.
Love your videos. Why do we never see your wife. Your daughter is beautiful.
She is probably a camera shy
A couple of days ago, I said. Sergey, what you need is 3,000 Patron and 3,000 subscribers. Now I see on this screen, you have 141,000 subscribers. Hahahaha hahahaha
I just came here after Ivan Petrovich ))
Was this place open during the communist era ?
lmg установлен и загружен
Sergei, I worry about you. You need to start working out at the gym with all that food promotion. Hope meeting in the summer. New York
No Way? No disrespect but RUSSIAN people put to much emphasis on 💪 looks.. Be happy and fat and eat good food whatever you want
bocatto di cardinale....
am I first?
Sergey, you're gonna get really fat, watch out with those deserts :)

You're very uneducated. ua-cam.com/video/ZvsintGi5JA/v-deo.html
do people really say "flagman" in this context in English? I thought it would be "signature dish".
