Tbh, the song itself doesn't "grab" me as much as the vid. I'm a sucker for his more operatic/Khazack style renditions, purely because NOBODY comes close to doing what Dimash can do. He is an absolute treasure and is so unique ❤️

The idea behind the “Be with Me” arrangement comes from Dimash (composer)and his friend and permanent arranger, Yerlan Bekchurin, got to work. He said, 'I think that deep down we were all inspired by the work of Michael Jackson, Quincy Jones and Stevie Wonder ...'
Dimash commissioned his friends Jordan Arakelyan and Dauren Shamuratov to write the lyrics.. Jordan wrote the main English lyrics and Dauren wrote the Kazakh rap. (Jordan Arakelyan as backup singer and her husband are part the Dimash team. They have been the best of friends since their University years. Dismash is the Godfather to their son.)
The director Radislav Lukin praised Dimash's professionalism and acting skills. He took a maximum of 3 shots per cut. Cameraman Azamat Dulatov says that 'Be with Me' MV is a brand new genre. 70 people worked on this MV and it reached 1 million views after just 5 days.

Dimash is so talented that he allows himself to subvert for the sake of fun! In the MV of this song, he makes a parody of action movies, like 007: We have a mafia, a girl hostage to bandits, beautiful women, fights, car escape... But, the most important is the transgression of styles. There is no definite one: Now it's R&B, it's Funk, Bel Canto, Rap… All in the same song! A tribute to Dimash's idols: Michael Jackson, Jack Chan, Stevie Wonder, Quincy Jones… Freed from the ties of a record label, Dimash does what he likes with the enormous talent he has!

Had to subscribe after seeing your very first reaction to Dimash--I just knew you'd get a kick out of this one!😜 One of the most fun things about him is that you NEVER know what to expect, since he sings in practically every genre, often using 2-3-4 in ONE song. And you'll find no 2 renditions are ever the same--with him it's always EXPECT THE UNEXPECTED!!
Absolutely love how you really get into each performance--practically all reactors will SAY something positive about Dimash...but you can just SEE how while some of them may 'talk the talk', they're not 'walkin' the walk'--there's no true genuine obvious FEELING to back up their words. Something we don't have to worry about with you!😁 Just one reminder--as easy as it is to get lost in each of his performances, try (especially with any MV's) to remember to WATCH as well as LISTEN, or you might miss some important expression, gesture, or body language which will be important to the story. That being said, 'cannot wait to watch you lose your mind over whatever Dimash song you choose next, my friend!!❤😉❤

Love how you were grooving with the music as soon as the music kicked in either the dombra playing with the beats. Yes, Dimash was having so much fun with this song and the MV. He is 007 Dimash and it was all him in the fight scene. Yes, choreographed, but it was all him. No stunt doubles. He wanted to be like his hero/friend Jackie Chan to take on the entire goon squad and beat them all. He also threw in some comedic moments like when they photo bombed the couple 😂 and yes he loves cars, especially American muscle cars. Oh and that last “Ou!!” was so kind to MJ. ❤😊
