I’ve never driven the RX-8 but from all the reviews I’m convinced it’s The best handling car ever
The engine 1.3L can literally fit in a tub for your matchbox cars😭 better yet.. the engine is literally (front mid engine) tucked under the dash and back wall of the engine bay, making its balance so damn good! with its superior chassis even more superior than the FD RX7!!! It’s nimble, high reving, factory bucket racing seat, 6speed clutchN, RWD baby can rip!and dominates auto cross keeping up with 911s and GTRs on a circuit track!

I was wondering where the rx8 was, my favorite car ive ever owned and best handling ive driven. Also good call on the mk3 gti over the 4, everyone loves the mk4, mk3 is where its at!

supposedly from what I've heard the z3 handles "worse" than the e36 because it uses the e36 platform but the older e30s semi-trailing rear suspension... I dunno though I haven't driven either. Also on the topic of suspension, the integra has double wishbones while the RSX has MacPherson struts in the front and trailing arm(s) in the rear so it's 'supposed' to be worse as well... at least, I hear a lot of people saying the integra is amazing handling for a FWD car but not so much for the RSX.

6th Gen Celica we got in America wasn’t really a good handling car. We really got the short end of the stick in the US. The best handling Celica was the 7th gen and made more power than the 6th and are really cheap. Those are the ones to get imo

Imma just say, if u want a car strictly for handling. The 3rd gen mr2 (aka the mr-s or mr2 Spyder) is the best one under 10k. Miles better than a Miata. The 3rd gen eliminated the snap oversteer that would occur when u let off the gas mid corner in the first 2 generations. And if u need proof a tuned mr2 Spyder has the second fastest lap time in the Gunsai Touge which makes it faster than cars like the gtr r35 tuned by Mines and a stock Mercedes AMG GTR. Also the mr2 had a full interior, no boost, no upgraded brake calipers, mainly just suspension tuning and a engine swap to another cheap Toyota engine making around 200 hp

Handling is one attribute that’s honestly super underrated and not many people talk about thoroughly but with that being said this list is a bit iffy. A decent Mazda rx8 can be found under for $10K and is typically known as one of the best handling cars ever made regardless of the price range
Handling is why I have to get rid of my ls430, I miss my e36 I sold to get this boat so much.

Idk about the Celica 6th gen “GT” being the one with better handling because from my experience owning an ST and asking other 6g Celica owners the ST is more nimble and better at handling cause less weight especially it being ff car so the hatch is the only thing that makes the weight even out. Hence also why the GT has to come with a strut tower brace and the ST doesn’t, but this I think only applies to the 6th gen and maybe 5th gen but the 7th gen has the better 2zz and better suspension
