I proudly can claim myself as an anemosexual at this point...can't even imagine how far HoYo will go with this element, every character forth it becomes beyond any expectations and I love it.

Personally, I immediately thought it was Nahida checking in on him. He is still in Sumeru and one of her avatar's is a bird so...
rather than it being raiden who clearly doesnt give a shit abt him, i think it was nahida in bird's body
This demo was DELICIOUS . The dubstep with the chanting and his flute theme playing throughout was *chef's kiss*
For anyone who wonders about this part: I feel like the reason why the Fatui didn't recognize him as one of the Harbingers would be bc they're so low in the hierarchy that they would never had the chance to meet him prior to his defection
EDIT: Oh right, I almost forgot the "...Balladeer and Kabukimono ceasing to exist" part. It's also possible that he'll erase his existence. We'll just have to play the Interlude Quest when it comes out to find out.

So he did delete his records using the Irminsul and temporarily forgot his original identity. But he eventually regained them at the end.
Or he mightve did something with irminsul to make everyone forget about being balladeer just a guess

Have you guys not seen the 3.3 trailer? 'From this day onward, Balladeer and the Wandering Eccentric shall cease to exist' or something along the lines. He totally erased himself from Irminsul.

One thing I noticed not many seem to mention, is that Nahida is almost definetly in this trailer too. She is the bird.
On top of it being a Ei/Miko reference, we can assume its Nahida since.
1. Its been told before that Nahida has appeared as birds before to communicate.
2. The bird seems oddly close to him and even scolds him seemingly after the fight.
3. Nahida mentioned she'd be keeping an eye on him to make sure he stays in line. So she wouldn't let him wander off with no supervision.
4. Scara himself says "we're done here" not "I'm done here" after the bird returns.
also hyv used a "caged bird" a lot in reference to nahida
so.... does this mean Miko ate Nahida?

i like to imagine that the glitchy effects are the fatui guys’ perspectives with the kind of “familiarity” like in wanderer’s story when traveler tells nahida about him

We basically now have Fujin and Raijin now with scaramouce and the Raiden puppet. So this trailer truly showcases scara as the wind lord.
Venti and Raiden are already called fujin and raijin in the JP dub

I really enjoy the parallels betwen his demo and Raiden's demo, and I also like that it seems like The Wanderer will still keep his sassy character, which I prefered anyway!💜

This has gotta be in my top 5 for demos, I am biased as fuck though bc of being a Scaramouche fan since 1.1 but holy hell, the music and animation was soooo good! I'm glad you're loving all the Wanderer stuff as well, from the looks of it, and from just voicelines we've read, he is definitely not changing much, just going his own path and saying 🖕 to the Fatui it seems! What a character!

How do you play with more then one anemo on your team? I want Wanderer but i have Kazuha on my team and i dont want to replace him 😞

@@hugs4cupid Xiao as DPS, Venti (C2 as anemo shredder), Sucrose as ER, Sayu as healer. Kazuha can be a sub dps but he's better with if teamed up with other elements especially when u have his BiS weapon

Everything about his trailer was just…amazing. The music. The cinematography. The visuals. The voice acting. THE MUSIC, oh goodness me. This guy has the one of the best music in the game. I can’t wait to pull for him.
I love the little wavy glitch out before his "name" appears. It could be a hint that he rewrote himself in Irminsul, though I really hope not.

His character demo is just so freaking cool. The bird on his shoulder was a cool easter egg, the visuals and music HOLY MOLY. Also I am curious why the fatui doesnt recognize him which I'm assuming The Wanderer erased the existence of balldeer. SO EXCITED TO PLAY THE NEW ARCHON INTERLUDE QUEST
One thing I noticed about the Wanderer's design is he now continues to wear the feather from the Husk of Opulent Dreams set, which was said to prove his recognition by the Raiden Shogun. I wonder if they will show the significance of that in the quest.
For what I have saw , Scara’s demo is a mix of Ayaka’s & Raiden’s demo & the music is so bang bang

Also raiden's demo started with a bird and now his too...also him revolting the fatui but not playing along well with the bird just gives out so much when it comes to him being not sure of himself and still on his journey to find himself...damn the details were good

This is so cool! I really love the style they decided to go with! It has obvious Inazuman styles, but also something a little more (if that makes sense) :D
The editing style is actually very similar to Raiden Shogun's one, so maybe that's where you felt it from? Also the low-quality in the beginning and at the end.

I love all the callbacks to Ei's trailer. I really hope that they won't just have him be erased from Irminsul in some way, I want a proper redemption arc. Also, I hope for some reconciliation with Ei, because I'm a sap like that.

The bird at the start feels like a symbolism for the crow that appears at the start of Raiden Shogun's trailer AKA: The Wanderer's mother
It has callbacks/references from raiden's trailer. especially the shot with the purple ring on his back with the black backdrop.
When you realize that the ring behind him when he flying look like Raiden ring
I know people are wondering why the Fatui didn’t seem to recognize him, but I wonder, what if they did? They readied their weapons right when they saw him.
Perhaps they were actually sent to assassinate him? As far as they would know, the god plan failed, maybe they expected to kill him in a weak state, not knowing he’s now powerful with a Vision.
At the end of the Fungi event, Fatui were dispatched to assassinate the man behind the tournament, so I could also see a similar situation here. An interesting thought.

Don't you think that here that bird has significance.... We can see the same bird in raiden ideal animation...... First it come and sat on wanderer showing him connected to his past then fighting like him struggling between past and future then return of bird like his memories coming back and then him flying it away meaning that those memories doesn't bother him anymore

Hot take but he is the reason why I still love Inazuma lore to this day, even though he is a side story. It's dark and heartbreaking but I like it.
