Papi? Sounds like a porno… why choose that name??
Hi, and thank you so much for your helpful lessons, it was really great information about Shakespeare,..I am from Iran. It's
good to know our language is persain Farsi) and in our literature history we have a great poet (Ferdosi) that the persain language is really influenced by his poems .🎉🎉
Each of your videos leaves a mark on our knowledge of the English language and global culture.
Cheers, Sam!
Happy to hear that and great example! Thanks Luis! A lot more to come :)
O my God! The place where Shakespeare lived? Wow! I anyways wanted to see it. Thanks for sharing this video.
Belém , my hometown in Brazil was founded in 1616. I’ve visited lovely Stratford Upon Avon. Great lesson, thanks Sam.
This town was so Quaint and lovely, i really enjoy looking at the house's and the Canal, especially the house where William Shakespeare was born, thank you for taking us with you in your travels❤❤

Love❤ from Indian... Sir
I have learn a lot of things from your videos......😊😊
Glad to hear that, a lot more to come :)
Your home town, I see where all the idioms come from ☺️
I used to like reading Shakespeare's sonnets, even though you have to get through all the metaphors and "read between the lines" a lot. I even learned some by heart) It's definitely worth reading some archaic poetic language, I wouldn't want to miss that part of my language experience 🙂
That's awesome! Haha yes, I do love idioms!! 😄
Just found your channel perchance 😉
A refreshing way to teach,
Thanking you.

I do not usually share comments but this one was awesome that I have really enjoyed.
Nice videos, thank you! We also visited Stratford- upon-Avon in high school, from Budapest, and recited Shakespeare poems and quotes in front of his house. :) Good language practice: the pronunciation of 'canal' , 'to coin new words', or 'the apple of my eye' were useful. :)
You’re a very charismatic English teacher 🥂😍
I love this series! Y hearing your British accent. I have been your home town 20 years ago.
I hope to see more videos of another towns of UK❤
What a lovely place I hope someday I will visit england
It really is, and I hope you do :)
Hi, Sam!
You are doing a terrific job! You are teaching us English at the same time
getting us see the sights of the famous places. You are killing two birds with one stone. I appreciate that. You must be proud of William Shakespeare because you are his fellow countryman. That sounds great! Do not stop, please. Thumbs up! Cheers!
I love it , thank you very much Sam
I'm glad you like it 😊
I happened to spend a week in Alcester in 2011, a memorable stay, and I changed from bus to car at the outskirsts of your home town. It was sort of a business trip to Alcester, so I had no opportunity to look around in Stratford, a pity, since I was quite taken even by Alcester, an obvious inferior. Somehow I managed to quip this pun upon the visit though: "When in Alcester, Mister, Make sure you meet a spinster, Composed by Harold Pinter" (another venerable inferior, this time of course to Shakepeare).
God bless you for all the hard work you put in those videos. I watch every single one that comes out on this channel - both shorts and learn Eng. with me as I travel the world. Cheers!
I appreciate it!! Wow, every video! That's amazing :)

I visited Stratford - upon - Avon with a group of theater students from America in 1982. I was working in a hotel in London by Paddington Station where students from America where staying. The name of the hotel was Talbot Hotel in Talbot square. First I travel all around England with a theater group and then with a group of students studying architecture also from American! You were born in a beautiful city and country! I hope to be back to England in the near future. I like to write my second memoir with the help of Andrew Crofts an English writer. It Will be like going full circle.
Wow, that is incredible, your trip sounds amazing!! You should definitely come back and visit it again. Thank you :)
@@PapiEnglish I just reread my comment and noticed some grammar errors. I'm dyslexic and I have a lot of difficulty with languages. i have problems following rules! 😔I consider myself a murderer of languages. . Feel free to correct my English. Hello Sam.
When you explain the informal expressions of English it makes everything so interesting and fun, because that's exactly what we English lovers want to learn and it's hard to find teachers with this style of teaching English on the Internet. I love your videos. Thank you so much. I'm from Brazil and it's very interesting to know that William Shakespeare coined several of these expressions, as some are identical in Brazil. As I had seen in another of your videos, England and Brazil have a lot in common when it comes to expressions. Good to know that you are a countryman of Shakespeare, I like him a lot, and Stratford-upon-Avon is on my list of visits when I go to England. Take care.
Thanks for your kind message 😊 I would also love to visit Brazil! I have studied Portuguese in Portugal, so it would be a great opportunity to learn some Brazilian Portuguese expressions!! I hope you visit my town!! I'm sure you would love it!

You are very handsome, you know
It’s all Greek to me. I suppose that all languages refer to Greek to say that something is impossible to understand. His town is all green. He must have recorded it a long time ago.
Hahah yes I have a backlog of videos, as I travel and don't have time to edit them. This was recorded in August 2022.
@@PapiEnglish you travel a lot. You have taught a suitable proverb - a rolling stone gathers no moss ….it is about you -) nonetheless I like you for: the voice, appearance and charm and of course - useful lessons -)
