    I'm more impressed that your N4 plus is still working properly, haven't used mine in over half a year because of nothing but frustration and headaches.
    Ah well, hopefully it'll keep churning out good prints for you.

      Have you updated the firmware? I’ve had no problems with mine after tuning!

    I've printed the squish fidget before. It's really fun! Just a bit hard to get sticking to the bed.

      Yeah! I scaled it pretty big so I could have better bed adhesion. Still a part of that print came unstuck but it was still functional! 😅

    It is amazing how far 3D printers have come in the last ten years. Your Vids are always awesome and almost mesmerizing, Thanks for sharing.

      Yeah! It seems like just yesterday I was putting my first 3d printer kit together but it was 11 years ago. I can’t imagine what they’ll look like in another ten years.

    new to 3d printing, my neptune 4 pro is going right now. whats the purpose of the tower you're printing in the corner of the buildplate on all of these?

      Its called a prime tower, it has to do with the time-lapse. You see how you can't see the print head anywhere in the video, it just seems like the print grows out of the bed? Basically after each layer the print head moves to the corner, it takes a picture, then it uses the prime tower to prime the nozzle and make sure it's ready to resume printing and it doesn't ruin the walls of your print. It's like if you paused the print and then resumed it, for each layer. I've tried doing that time-lapse style without a prime tower and it ended up with tons of extra crap on the outside of my print

      @oceanman207 ah I see thanks, I knew about time lapse settings and how they were filmed but hadn't seen a prime tower before

    Why do you have a prime tower printing with each print

    • @WildRoseBuilds
      @WildRoseBuilds  6 днів тому +1

      To catch the oozing from the pause that happens for the Timelapse picture
