- Hello and good eve 😄 Today you went to a carnival. You spotted a fortune tellers tent, and your impulses told you that this was the place to be. This fortune teller though perhaps not the most well versed their field is friendly and only wishes to make you feel comfortable and ready to sleep.
Hello and please read this! The disclaimer in the beginning of this video is not in anyway supposed to make you feel invalid or unaccepted in this community. For next video - how about drawing something, maybe a hidden treasure map? Or jewellers store would be great.
I’ve watched this video every single night this week to fall asleep. Your low murmuring voice contrasted with the sounds of the jewelry and cards is absolutely phenomenal.
As far as ideas, something I’ve never seen, though it might require some worldbuilding, is a fantasy “sommelier” themed video for potions or some such.

There is no creator, I’ll remind you that “god” did not create man. Man created god because he was lonely and manifested their gods into existence through the power of belief.
Okay, now sit there and say that again when someone actually asks. Seriously, why can't a person have the right to believe in a creator without people going "AKSHUALLY 🤓☝🏻"???
Why do you feel the need to make a disclaimer at all? This is clearly a RP and that's fine to do a roleplay of something you consider fictional but why do you have to make it crystal clear to your audience that you don't believe in it? Yes I read both versions of your disclaimer and my question still stands. Because what I'm getting from this disclaimer is one of two things - either you feel insecure in your own beliefs and thus feel the need to profess them publicly for external validation, OR you don't actually respect other's beliefs and want to push your own on them. Saying you 'don't support' a belief (twice!) really sounds like the second one. I'm a skeptic and non-religious and this disclaimer still sat wrong with me. I hope you really consider whether it's necessary or potentially harmful to put such disclaimers in future, especially since you are borrowing from other cultures and beliefs for your art.

hi, let's take the time to encourage thinking and discourse rather than to accuse. we could easily rephrase this comment to say "hi asmr cottage, you might want to consider that people viewing your channel all have different beliefs - and could even believe in this. thus your disclaimer might make some people feel invalidated/excluded, etc." this can be a kind welcome into another point of view that maybe someone hasn't considered before, rather than a harsh accusation. we're all strangers on the internet from different worlds and different backgrounds.
@@ania1661 is it really harsh, or am i just literally stating the facts that they said they do not encourage or support divination practices, and in the video description they continue about their beliefs in their “creator”. i’m a deeply religious person myself, and we may even share the same beliefs, but i just don’t think it’s okay to use genuine cultural practices as props for storytelling and then continue to discredit it and push your own beliefs onto other people. i could absolutely have gone with your suggestion, but that doesn’t really address the problem of the profitting off of cultural practices and then talking down on them. thanks, but no thanks :)
I'm so sorry that you found this offensive, I promise I did not mean to offend anyone or make anyone feel excluded, but I do feel that its important for us as humans to be able to share what they believe in a way that does not feel harsh. This video performance is a role play, I didn’t take it as a pushing of a certain religious beliefs etc. I am not offended by the disclaimer. You don’t see doctors getting upset when they see medical asmr role plays etc, I think the creator of the video has politely asked for everyone to not take it seriously and that it’s a role play. I’m not sure why someone would get offended by a performance with cards. I hope the creator continues to make videos on this as I enjoyed it.
