My wife just purchased (from Amazon) the Bonsenkitchen Vacuum Sealer last week. We went to use it today and discovered there's no stainless steel slide cutter blade, just white and clear plastic. I called the customer service number and spoke with a representative, and I told her the problem. I told her the manual doesn't address the blade (or if it could be replaced if it became dull), and I also asked her if she had a detail of the slide blade assembly showing the blade -- which she said she didn't. I told her if she was in doubt of what I was telling her I would take a photo of the slide cutter and email it to her as an attachment. She said, no, just send to sealer back to Amazon. Yes, I could cut the freezer bags with a pair of scissors, but I expect to get what I paid for. The afore being said, the vacuum sealer looks like a quality piece of kitchen equipment, and we looked forward to using it.

I'm just experiencing the same issue with the gear received this morning! Needless to say it's a shame and gives an out of the box deceiving experience.

By the way, you threaded the bag rill through the cutter track. Is that the way it's supposed to be?
I'm so glad you love it! It works so well and is easy to use. Haha, except you're totally right. After we filmed this we were wondering why the bag didn't cut easily. User error on our part!

How do you seal it i mean initially? I wish the people would consider learning disabled an AHD folk in these teaching videos, but we appreciate that.
Why do you put the carboard in the chamber.
It just helps to protect the sealer from getting smashed while it is being stored.

when I press seal to seal one side of the bag
The pump turns on before sealing. Is this normal?
No, our pump only turns on when we press gentle, moist, or something like that. Seal should just heat up the plastic to melt it.

Which one seels it the first or the second?
the first seal actually seals it. I just did a second seal for extra protection.

This is a piece of garbage defective after less than using 10 times won’t seal I contacted the company abysmal customer support won’t honor the warranty I charged them back on my credit card can not recommend
