My favorite part of the Jazz Era following the Roaring 20s was the emergence of Free Jazz, particularly the work of John Coltrane with the album "Ascension." Worth a listen, really groundbreaking musical work of that time!
So much to cover in this time period and I know this video doesn't come close to covering everything in the detail is deserves. I am going to go back and create several videos on this time period alone. Thanks
Hey do you have any information about Chief Massasoit and his brothers including Quadequina? They are Wampanoags. Quadequina is my ancestor but it’s hard to find reliable info about his life
That is very cool you have Wampanoag heritage. I am sorry but I don't really have anything simply focusing on the Wampanoag. I do have a short playlist of Native America history ua-cam.com/play/PLWWndCnip3V0ZQ4RumSJ4fNkrl-w5i4Qg.html
I'm sure you're going to get to it, but I think a nice episode to spawn from this one would be the transition of the roaring twenties into the great depression and how nobody still completely understands how it happened (of course there are many scholarly sources to point to its very likely complex origin, but it's still controversial).
