Matthew Plavidal may have the cleanest Coyote swapped Fox Body Mustang we have seen. The car is a 1992 LX Coupe that has been under the knife for some time. Matt explains in the video how the swap came to be. He also tells us what parts he used to make this Calypso Coupe a show stopper.
The car features our Speed Drive adding a power steering pump to the accessory drive while utilizing the coyote alternator and Modular Ford AC compressor. Additionally it is using our 6R80 Control Pack to control both the engine and transmission with a factory PCM. UPR Suspension, American Racing Headers, Florida 5.0, Viking, and much more help this coupe stand out in the croud.
Special mentions to :
Sephen and Eddie Flavian for the build
Shane Brunson for the paint

My favorite fox at Foxtoberfest!
Matt is a great guy and a good friend! Can't wait to see him again!😉👍👊😁
Very nice.
WOW!!! Looks Great, I live in the area I would love to see this car in person because I'm currently restoring my 88 Notch. Now you have me hooked on the coyote swap for my Notch. LOL!!
I hope to see you in the local car shows this year. Again WOW WOW WOW
It looks like it belongs in there!
This coupe is flawless, would love to own it!
That’s a clean fox.
Very very clean Notchback just beautiful
It really is!
So clean! Absolutely beautiful car!
Very nice. What does a conversion like this cost to do??
Is it for sale?
Sweet swap. How was it with the 4r70w ?
4r70w can do some work, currently, the 6r80 can offer you more in the power holding and driveability departments especially with a coyote in front of it. If you like the 4r70w we would look at a us shift controller and a Lenntech built unit to round out the combo.
