Dude! I totally have one of those! I have 1999 Martin HD-28. I bought it a couple years ago for my 50th bday. Took me forever to find one because I suffer from a disease called "left-handedness" so, it's actually a HD-28L. I love it. I usually run 11's on it, for the bendability. However i do get a bit of fret buzz (not sure if string size is causing that). I absolutely love the guitar though. My dad had a 1969 D-28 when i was a kid and you never forget the sound so i always wanted to have one i could play.
That is one sweet guitar. It's got some great tone! The only drawback is the price is the same as a new one here in the states. If it was an HD28V I would jump on it.
@@el34glo59 Hey hey, not in the US currently but hopefully will move there again one day. I used to live up in Milwaukee during college, coming over for a visit to the midwest and Nashville soon :)
Can't recall cost but inline with market value. Roughly $3k USD with current exchange rate, but the NZ dollar is weak against the USD currently, so guessing closer to 2.5k USD

Awesome thanks for sharing!
That’s definitely a keeper!
glad you like it!
@@NickBrightwell Even though I'm not in the market and I'm in the US, I love your playing and breakdown of how these guitars sound!! cheers!

Thanks, man. Age old question do I buy new or played-in one?
@@studio1vintageguitars I do like the played in ones. If an older one had a set and new frets I would take it over new.
Thanks, Henry! Good to hear from you.
Definitely - if I had the dough!
Oh! ...and, amazingly good playing, Nick! Fabulous guitar.
Thanks, man!
For sale? What's the price my man? If i missed it i apologize but didn't see it. I don't see it on your site

@@studio1vintageguitarsThanks. I was hoping, despite your accent, that you were in the US 😂. I appreciate it either way. Great guitar
