I haven’t sewn a garment in 15 years (I quilt now, but I was a dressmaker for a long time), and I have been wanting to incorporate patchwork onto an old denim jacket that’s been hanging in my closet from the days when denim jackets were cool, then not cool, and now cool again. I accidentally forgot to return 2 mesh blouses 2 seasons ago (not inexpensive), when the black mesh with embroidery was "all the rage"--both sitting in closet with tags on, but couldn't bear to get rid of them...NOW at least I can make good use of them, lol!! Also: this would be a SUPER CUTE light spring-summer cover-up if done in white denim with white embroidered mesh! I LOVE how creative you are--and your "lessons" aren't intimidating at all! Thanks!!❤

I abandoned loved that jacket and I don’t normally like jean jackets. But i can rock that design. I absolutely love you two. Lol
Also does that tape leave a glue film on the needle.
We’re so glad you liked it! So, the tape I use doesn’t leave a lot film, so long as you take your time heat setting it. But, I always change my needle out after sewing up a project with this.

Okay, that's it, I'm making this. I made something similar with jeans, but I cut out the front panel of the legs up to the pocket, and used a lacy tablecloth. I really like them, very boho 🌼
