- The #MercedesAMGGLE63SCoupe is a 603 HP super SUV for the buyer who thinks the normal #GLE63S is too common. #MercedesAMG was not the first entry into the coupe SUV segment but #AMG has done a few things to make it stand out from its BMW and Audi rivals.

The GLE Coupe is one of the best looking SUV out here. I love the design! I would choose this over a regular SUV. I’m not basic like others.💯
Looks like a giant blue egg. The Porsche Cayenne Coupe and Audi Q8 looks miles better.

I just love the way he gets excited whenever he floors it and feels the power of the engine when he does his reviews. Like a kid enjoying his favourite candy lol!
If the vehicle is over 100 degrees out you lose over 1 second 0-60. I bought mine in 2021 February after i did my 1000 mile break in, I have clocked in my system 0-60 @3.4 seconds... In august @ 115 degrees 0-60 @ 4.85 In the heat its terrible!
@@topfrycook8481 well 115 degrees is hot as fuck lmao. barely gives the car a chance to cool off. Not sure where you live but most people buying this thing dont plan on racing in 100+ degree weather. and thats still good for how the car handles the heat!

@@user-um3fx2vk8r live in Lake Havasu city and it hits 128 here sometimes.. Mercedes offered to buy my car for what I paid for it.. I asked why? They said you cannot get them anymore and they could sell it as soon as they out it on the lot.. I have now 6000 miles on it.. had it 11.months now.

This is the vehicle you purchase when you like a sedan, but want the commanding road view of an SUV.
The narrative of sport SUV’s being awkward or weird looking is honestly outdated. Everyone loves the look of these vehicles. Ultra luxury and sporty.
Every time I see a video of someone driving this car the driver is all laughs and smiles when stepping on the gas. Can't wait to get my own and experience this for myself.
I bought the GLE AmG 63s coupe. Beautifully design and power.
I couldn't disagree more with the overall assessment. People shopping at this level aren't trying to save money, otherwise they wouldn't be looking at this. Secondly yes, certain Tesla models are faster and cheaper, but they're built like a kit car with NO luxury to be found. I can see the argument between the Coupe version version the regular body style GLE, but not the argument that you're better off with some junk electric from Tesla. It isn't even a comparison beyond 0-60 times. Tech buyers in my experience aren't even car enthusiasts and a Tesla is like them buying a new phone, not a car. 0-60 times are not the end all of car ownership/experience.

Not everyone who want's a SUV style vehicle with it's higher riding position, want's to have a big box stuck at the back of it.
Like not everyone who drives a _normal_ coupé (Not a coop!) wants to have an estate car.
I think the coupé style SUV's are good looking and certainly have enough boot/trunk space if you know you're not going to be lugging wardrobes about.
Estates offer more space and drive better and handle better and faster and have lower centre of gravity than SUV coupes, E63 wagon offers 35 cubic feet of trunk space while GLE coupe offers 23 cubic feet of space and yet On Motortrend Testing the 1/4 mile of E63S wagon is 11.2 seconds at 125.1 mph while GLE63S coupe does 1/4 mile in 11.9 seconds at 116.2 mph, The gle Coupe offers LESS SPACE than a FORD FOCUS hatchback and looks Hideous

I can’t believe this system is considered to be showing it’s age. Still seems new to me. I feel like we can’t expect these infotainment system to get fully redone every 6 months like smartphones, because their not the same thing.
Mbux is still new. Not even close to getting old

I love suv coupe designs. Tesla and lamborgini does it, and many brands are starting to do it.
@@jacobbio Lamborghini Urus is gorgeous. The Tesla is not bad. But this one is just terrible imo. Same for BMW X6 M. Even the Porche Cheyenne Coupe is way better.

I hope that there will be future MBUX software updates to have the older MBUX systems be up to date.
You can always tell from Sofyan's launch reactions if a car is adequately powered, I love it lol... Ilove the Coupe SUVs, if I ever decide to leave the luxury-sport sedan for a SUV/CUV it would be a Coupe because it's different and sexy asf tbh.. Great Review!! I'd take them in this order;

If you hold down the DOWN SHIFT when pressing start, you get the sweet revved up engine sound. A little trick I learned from the MB tech.

having a v8 engine is not comparable to an ev because the experience is entirely different. having a v8 engine is not only about the acceleration its the overall character of the drive

We just dumped our 2019 GLC-63 AMG. Couldn’t shift from 1st to 2nd, wore out it’s tires in 6300 miles and the AC condenser is down near the ground, in the front scoop of the bumper. Caught a rock and that was $3400… yup it’s gone

@@ilcomendante - Considering it was driven like an old ladies car and my GT-R was thrashed and it’s Dunlop’s lasted longer. Oh and it weighed pretty close to the GLC. It’s the shitty Continentals. The Pirellis easily will triple that.

Some people need towing capacity more than cargo capacity I'm 5'9 and most of my family are 6'0 or shorter or own their own cars so passenger capacity is not an issue either there are people who only need specific aspects of an SUV but also don't need the capability of even a small pick up

And after six months only one air vent will push out the AC/Heat. Then after your first year is up one of your rear airbags goes out

You pay $2G more - not for less but for a brand new chassis SWB w/ wider width + better proportioned weight - that’s what ‘coupe’ really ‘means!’ (actually it’s the drive + the looks)
Sofyan however couldn’t tell the difference! Maybe if he drove them one after the other, rather than half a year apart, his opinion on this particular point - and it’s a big one for most who prefer the coupe - may change?
PS - and how about really taking a corner at a faster speed to compare the two - not just zero to sixty on the straight!

FX/QX70 was the first performance coupe suv. Not BMW
I don't think the 2003 Infiniti FX was as "coupe-ish" as the original BMW X5, but I guess some may feel differently.

I love this vehicle, unfortunately Mercedes-AMG chose to use the TCT Transmission so no launch control in a 150k AMG! For that reason I would not buy this. Essentially this GLE has a similar transmission setup as the C43 and GLC43’s. TCT = Torque Converter Transmission. C63 S, E63 S, GLC63 S all have MCT (Mutli-Clutch) transmission with Launch Control. GLE 63 S, GLE 53, GLC43, C43 have a TCT with torque converter without launch control. FYI to potential buyers.
I love this car, the regular GLE looks like a soccer mom car. Boxy and all. So ummm no. 🤣🤣 but I have a 53. Wouldn’t pay for a 63.

I think it just looks big and have a presence. Driving it isn’t bad and I don’t feel that it’s massive… and my previous car was CLA45.. much smaller

I Love GLE
When they do go electric I hope they keep everything the same just replace everything with electricity so it looks the same just electric and by then I hope electric cars are developed enough so that they don’t deplete so much charge in the winter
I've already put this comment on a couple other Redline AMG videos and maybe Sofyan isn't reading my comments but this vehicle does not have the multi clutch transmission. It has the single clutch 9 speed torque converter automatic. And I realize I'm two days late in watching this so someone may have mentioned this already. Lol

BMWs interior quality is bar none better. When I was cross shopping, that was one of the determining factors. Design is cool but quality is below the bimmer but on par with Audi. And with no wireless Apple CarPlay or Android Auto, it’s a pass

I grow tired of the "CoUpEs HaVe 2 DoOrS" nonsense! Times change, definitions change. Everybody just needs to keep up. Coupe SUVs and 4 door car coupes are called coupes due to the sloping rear roof, a common look that prior standard 2 door coupes also had. That one feature from those vehicles are now added to current vehicles and utilize the term coupe. It's really no different from calling all the trucks SUVs when the vast majority are crossovers. Initially, SUV was a body on frame vehicle like a pickup truck. But now, all of the vehicles with that style is just an SUV.
In regards to the coupe name, I do prefer what Audi calls them, a Sportback. It would be better if all makes used that term, perhaps Audi trademarked it though, idk. I'm still fine with coupe though.
