    Not bad at all 760 of the 770 target pretty high percentage. The deliveries of the A321 XLR will help this year numbers no doubt.

      The initial target actually was 800. But it was revised rather soon.

    Airbus should NOT try to push for deliveries in the expense of quality, safety and cutting corners like Boeing did and hundreds of people died in the recent years!

    • @StopMediaFakery
      @StopMediaFakery День тому +12

      The issue seems to be more about delays from suppliers, rather than them pushing. They would probably have achieved their 800 target but for supply problems.

      I mean they can't be like Boeing even if they tried to. It's a multinational company, scrutiny is much higher. And supply chain issues involve multiple entities. It's EU, not the US lol

    • @dalekenning1363
      @dalekenning1363 День тому +7

      They’re not rushing, simply because of supply chain constraints. Also, unlike Boeing, there have been no planes diving into the ground because of software that wasn’t thought through properly or panels falling off because of poor quality control. Right now, Boeing and Airbus couldn’t be more different if they tried

    760 out of 770 is still an A+ if this were a school assignment. Better than pushing workers too hard to finish planes faster.

    It is not necessary to increase the target of the deliveries of the planes.
    I will say that peacefully build airplanes, examine them very strictly and then deliver them to the customers.Delivering planes too much earlier may cause impacts on safety.

      So no, it really could not happen. Airlines have their own engineers/representatives at the factory to oversee the assembly of their investment. And before the airplane gets delivered, the airline will do a pre-delivery inspection with their own people. This is done so that corners are not being cut to rush a delivery.

    Still a growth of 3-4% over prior year which nothing to sneeze at given market conditions, but Airbus shouldn't play a game with the street caving to analysts' pressure with big targets at the expense of quality.
