The most important thing I learned from this video was how to make the chest content interface larger so that I can see more than 15 items at a time. I could cry, man. That's amazing.

Awesome list, just wanted to mention that if you first kill Spaw for Glut, he will give the same quest to bring Nere's head, but he'll reward you with Champion's Chain instead of Envoy's Amulet (+2 Intimidation vs +2 Persuasion)
I’m not sure if this was just a random glitch or not, but when I started the quest to get the ring in the arcane tower, I read the books, but I also picked them up and I could never get Bernard to give me the proper dialogue options. I had to reload the entire area and start again and, this time, I read the books/scraps of paper, but did not take them and I was able to progress with Bernard and get the ring. Just an observation in case anyone is struggling with that part. I love these video guides, and I think I’ve watched this one in particular about 50 times as I try to 100% Act one. I couldn’t do it without your guides - theys are the best!
Also in the shattered Sanctum is the Ring of Poison resistance, i beleive it is near the door to the room where Halsin is, there is a skeleton with the ring.
you can get the "Key of the Ancients" from Nettie as well, when you kill her. If you don't swear to take the poison when turning into a mind flayer she becomes hostile and you need that item to open the stone door again to get out of her room
BTW for the unmarked entrance from the tunnel if you go forward climb up a couple ladders shoot the moonstone out of the statue and loot a couple skeletons you will get a key to unlock that room cell with the chest so you don't need to risk a lock pick. My first playthrough my rolls were bad enough that that door cost me all inspiration and 6 lock picks. That's also before I learned to optimize buulds
There's a ring I found on a ledge above where u save the Baelen, the merchants husband. You gotta jump up along the left side. It gives +1 nature and +1 to something else. Edit: Explorers ring +1 nature and survival
Very helpful. I used this to wrap up anything missed before I went to the shadowlands. I found that I forgot to actually take some stuff, thought I had it. The amulet at the forge isn't there for me. No chest. I killed the lava monster earlier. Game is glitchy, so... oh well. Great video
not sure if it was mentioned or not but the globin you talk to with the gnome spinning on the windmill has a "very heavy axe" also above the blighted village on the cave side follow the river and look for a skeleton has a smugglers ring (great ring hate you missed this one) awesome video as well
You actually missed Pale Oak - a quarterstaff that you'll get from Kagha after you exposed her and let her live. You can only get this when you talk to her as a druid. You can still get this if you didn't chose a druid for your main character. Just use a druid hireling.
You missed a sword. One of the fists in front of the doors at Waukeens Rest drops a sword that gives 1d4 attack roll against opponents without full hp. Svartlebees. You can make her drop with command, steal it real quick and go to camp or just kill them.
7:10 Vendors reset their items every time one of party members levels up, you can use Withers to reset shops instantly this way, available items may change then.
@@CentauriTT each vendor has a certain pool of items and draws from it. So lets say if you are looking for a specific bow from wiki that only this vendor should have, he will, if he doesn't, then you reset.
If you are the type of player who wants to syphon as much exp as possible in act 1 don't destroy the spider eggs. Let the Matriarch Spider boss hatch them. You might have to lure her near them. But if you followed this guide to construct the spear it's a great weapon to use in the spider cave.
For the Watcher's Guide you can use 2 characters to avoid setting the trap off if you have 1 by the disarm button on the pillar and enter turn based (Loot the Spear switch to second character and press the button to deactivate the trap) Also the Broodmother's Revenge is a reward for Druids Only if you don't kill Kagha. But this is a very good guide with no spoilers good job.

You know what would be nice in this game? A vendor that just sells items you may have missed. Some items I just missed as I didn’t even know they’d be essential in a build later for example.

There are a couple unique items you can get if you do certain things. In the basement with the bracers of defense, there is a book, called the mecromancy of thay tome, it gives you either proficiency on wisdom saves, or advantage i forget which. During auntie ethel's fight if you get her to low enough HP you can persuade or intimidate her to give you a buff, +1 to any stat you want.
Hey the everburn blade is a monster combine it with the helldusk armor and the ring that inflicts 2 acid on hit and the cloat that when you inflict a condition on a target they get reverberation and use the crossbow that inflicts reeling you can stack some nice de buffs on them before they reach you then give them a walloping
On the preview image of this video there is a rare armor between Shattered Flail and (probably) The Oak Father's Embrace (row 1, column 4) - what's this? I'm not sure if it is covered by the video
i fully explored the map and got to the underdark at level 5, btw, hold person is really effective against the gith on the bridge, in my all summoners playthrough rn i had a ranger with a bear and scratch, karlach as a cleric with floating weapon and spirit guardians, gale as a druid with a familiar and zombie and wyll as a necromancer with a zombie, none of them have any attack spells its just stuff like web, mud, blind, hideous laughter and hold person, if u hold person and it works ur guranteed crits with melee so those zombies were hitting for 22 every time, first time i never had trouble with them

Awesome list, just wanted to mention that if you first kill Spaw for Glut, he will give the same quest to bring Nere's head, but he'll reward you with Champion's Chain instead of Envoy's Amulet (+2 Intimidation vs +2 Persuasion)

I’m not sure if this was just a random glitch or not, but when I started the quest to get the ring in the arcane tower, I read the books, but I also picked them up and I could never get Bernard to give me the proper dialogue options. I had to reload the entire area and start again and, this time, I read the books/scraps of paper, but did not take them and I was able to progress with Bernard and get the ring. Just an observation in case anyone is struggling with that part. I love these video guides, and I think I’ve watched this one in particular about 50 times as I try to 100% Act one. I couldn’t do it without your guides - theys are the best!

Also in the shattered Sanctum is the Ring of Poison resistance, i beleive it is near the door to the room where Halsin is, there is a skeleton with the ring.

you can get the "Key of the Ancients" from Nettie as well, when you kill her. If you don't swear to take the poison when turning into a mind flayer she becomes hostile and you need that item to open the stone door again to get out of her room
In the shattered sanctum, in the tourture room on the right as you enter, there is a uniqe jagged spear, just leaning against some stuff

BTW for the unmarked entrance from the tunnel if you go forward climb up a couple ladders shoot the moonstone out of the statue and loot a couple skeletons you will get a key to unlock that room cell with the chest so you don't need to risk a lock pick. My first playthrough my rolls were bad enough that that door cost me all inspiration and 6 lock picks. That's also before I learned to optimize buulds

There's a ring I found on a ledge above where u save the Baelen, the merchants husband. You gotta jump up along the left side. It gives +1 nature and +1 to something else.

In the main room of the ancient temple where you pick-up the spear, there is a button on the central pillar which disables all the traps.

Very helpful. I used this to wrap up anything missed before I went to the shadowlands. I found that I forgot to actually take some stuff, thought I had it. The amulet at the forge isn't there for me. No chest. I killed the lava monster earlier. Game is glitchy, so... oh well. Great video

You actually missed Pale Oak - a quarterstaff that you'll get from Kagha after you exposed her and let her live. You can only get this when you talk to her as a druid. You can still get this if you didn't chose a druid for your main character. Just use a druid hireling.

You missed a sword. One of the fists in front of the doors at Waukeens Rest drops a sword that gives 1d4 attack roll against opponents without full hp. Svartlebees. You can make her drop with command, steal it real quick and go to camp or just kill them.

7:10 Vendors reset their items every time one of party members levels up, you can use Withers to reset shops instantly this way, available items may change then.
Question can vendors possibly sell unique uncommon gear then?
@@CentauriTT each vendor has a certain pool of items and draws from it. So lets say if you are looking for a specific bow from wiki that only this vendor should have, he will, if he doesn't, then you reset.
Fun fact for the Sickle of Booal, you can actually just buy it from the priest with the trade icon at the bottom during his chat after killing Booal
If you are the type of player who wants to syphon as much exp as possible in act 1 don't destroy the spider eggs. Let the Matriarch Spider boss hatch them. You might have to lure her near them. But if you followed this guide to construct the spear it's a great weapon to use in the spider cave.
You left out a few. If you give the unopened box to the zhent. the art vendor will unlock his full inventory. The titanstring bow is in there.

For the Watcher's Guide you can use 2 characters to avoid setting the trap off if you have 1 by the disarm button on the pillar and enter turn based (Loot the Spear switch to second character and press the button to deactivate the trap) Also the Broodmother's Revenge is a reward for Druids Only if you don't kill Kagha. But this is a very good guide with no spoilers good job.
Broodmother's Revenge is looted off Kagha. Staff for druid if you expose and don't kill her.

You know what would be nice in this game? A vendor that just sells items you may have missed. Some items I just missed as I didn’t even know they’d be essential in a build later for example.
1:26:18 you can also get these from doing dialogue with the gnome and accepting the quest to help rescue their kin. No bad blood if you'd prefer!! They'll just give them to you as a "reward" sort of thing.

There are a couple unique items you can get if you do certain things. In the basement with the bracers of defense, there is a book, called the mecromancy of thay tome, it gives you either proficiency on wisdom saves, or advantage i forget which.
During auntie ethel's fight if you get her to low enough HP you can persuade or intimidate her to give you a buff, +1 to any stat you want.
I put the stat hair chunk in the vid but i was sort of just focusing mostly on equipment like gear in this vid

Hey the everburn blade is a monster combine it with the helldusk armor and the ring that inflicts 2 acid on hit and the cloat that when you inflict a condition on a target they get reverberation and use the crossbow that inflicts reeling you can stack some nice de buffs on them before they reach you then give them a walloping
On the preview image of this video there is a rare armor between Shattered Flail and (probably) The Oak Father's Embrace (row 1, column 4) - what's this? I'm not sure if it is covered by the video
i fully explored the map and got to the underdark at level 5, btw, hold person is really effective against the gith on the bridge, in my all summoners playthrough rn i had a ranger with a bear and scratch, karlach as a cleric with floating weapon and spirit guardians, gale as a druid with a familiar and zombie and wyll as a necromancer with a zombie, none of them have any attack spells its just stuff like web, mud, blind, hideous laughter and hold person, if u hold person and it works ur guranteed crits with melee so those zombies were hitting for 22 every time, first time i never had trouble with them
