A bit over 10 years ago 5'10" was considered tall. When I told people I was 5'10" the typical response was "So you're basically just 6 foot". Now girls that are like 5 foot nothing tell me "Oh you're not that tall" to which I usually respond, "Yeah and you're not that pretty, get over yourself".

I am 5'5 and so far what I noticed is that girls do not know what they want, they could tell you that they want someone who keeps up a conversation, but then feel intimidated if you do and share insight on a variety of themes. I'm 6.'1, broad shoulders and the halo effect is real. In a business setting, people automatically assume I am the boss/most senior person. It is a huge charisma booster. I am 5′ 7″ and got pretty narrow shoulders, yeah, I am small. My brother is 5′ 6″ or something but got pretty broad shoulders, when we stand side by side he looks considerably shorter than me because of it even though we have 5cm max of difference in height between us. To be honest I don't really hate my shoulders because it makes me look younger, but it definitely does not help me making people show respect. I am 5'5 and so far what I noticed is that girls do not know what they want, they could tell you that they want someone who keeps up a conversation, but then feel intimidated if you do and share insight on a variety of themes. As a 5'8 American my height never came into question not even once. Where I'm from 5'7 ~ 5'10 is an average attractive normal, and over 6 is actually seen as an oddity. Unless you are actively seeking short girls your average height male attractiveness never comes into question.
