Got me this one earlier today and just finished the burn off (12am.) All I can say is, before even cooking anything yet is DAM!!!! The cool off time is incredible. Picked up some ribs and chicken and will be slow cooking bright and early. Can't wait.
Just purchased, thx

What cover do you use for this
I have a question about temperature control,
So if I set the temperature high, does the auger rotate faster to add more pellets to maintain temperature.
And lower temperatures makes the auger rotate slower, adding less pellets at a time… am I correct about this?
I believe there's a feedback system that causes it to basically do that, yes. It will need to burn more to get the temp up, it will detect the temp being low and keep adding more pellets until it gets up to temp.
What should I do if I need to set the temp to 275?
Set it at 250 and change the auger setting to add more pellets more often then watch the temp go up 🤷🏻♂️
