I just stuck the heat gun in and left it to do it's thing. Took 10 minutes or so until it self ignited then it went like a rocket. Works well for old steel silencers. Careful doing it with modern silencers as you can melt the ally internals, ask me how I know...🤣
Just using the heat gun or have you added / rinsed the exhaust with something first?
