These look awesome. Just a question, the Viberg 145 Oxford in mushroom chamois looked like it has more brown colouring in it / was darker..... is that just the photos and lighting? This leather and colour used by Renav goods is identical?
I am not sure but you’re right the Vibergs were more brown. I would call these Olive chamois but it could be Mushroom just a batch variation

Now I'm confused, what's the difference between chamois and waxedflesh? They're both oiled rough out right? From your video, chamois is still looked rough while the waxedflesh looks more shiny and the nap is down completely. Read somewhere they said that chamois is from oiled nubuck.
Chamois has more oils build into the hide, ofc along with waxes. Waxed flesh is roughout then covered in a layer of hard wax to smooth out the nap, so when you touch it, it feels almost like smooth leather. Chamois is corrected and shaved and not full grain like waxed flesh. It is nubuck if you use the "smooth" side, I believe for shoes most people use the roughout side.
Waxed Flesh has more wax and is more smooth initially. Chamois contains more oil and has more nap

I got 8.5D in them same as most other US boot brands like Parkhurst and Truman
