I would have had a blast with that if it existed when I was a kid in the 60s and early 70s. I remember my mom and dad bought me a set of Maj. Matt Mason toys for Christmas, probably around 1969 or 70, and one of the toys was a Walker that, while it wasn't corded could run through pretty much everything. So of course the first thing I tested it out in was the snow that was in front of the house! Walked like a champ. Shudder to think what those toys would go for now.
Boy. I wish toys like that was still made. Imagine if an RC version of the current Mars rover was made. I'd buy it. I want this.
I had considered making this one Radio Control and split the axle and install two motors to maneuver it like a tank.
