I have not watched a complete season in years. But I am so amped for this season. There are so many favorites and I am rooting for them all to do well.
I've been waiting for Val to get an athlete for ever (he was the only one who never got one). And I loved him with Zendaya so I wanted to see him with a teen again. Laurie is both (and is adorable as heck), so it's perfect. Cheryl's "no nonsense" personality is going to clash with Ryan's "dumb douche bro". Good luck.
So would I. But I do love Jake and Laurie as my early favorites as well as the rest of the S23 cast! (Especially Amber, Jana, Maureen (a.k.a. Marcia Brady), Vanilla Ice, and Babyface are on the list!) So happy that Maks and Cheryl are back! Wish you all S23 cast the super best of luck to hit the ballroom dance floor this season! This is going to be an intriguing season to remember!

That's what I was just saying - I mean, I must have missed something somewhere, I didn't follow the story that closly, but I just think that other people have lost their medals for stuff, endorsements, etc.. I don't know maybe he wasn't the one who actually did the vandelizing, just made up the story and that's why they're letting it go, but - yeah, it doesn't really look right, obviously.
I'm so SUPER amped with excitement a million times more this 23rd season! So happy my brain is exploded with enthusiasm with the new cast, especially with Olympians Laurie and Ryan, to actors Jana and Jake and Amber! This is the season you can't resist to watch this fall! This is so going to be the most fun and awesome season EVER! (Rooting for them ALL to hit the dance floor come Sept.12!) Wish you all the BEST OF LUCK, S23 cast! CAN'T W8 2 c you DANCE! YAAAYYYYY!!!!!!

I don't think he would be up for it. For 1. It's too soon. And 2. The only way he'd be recognized on the show as a star is because of what he did the night of Christina's passing. I don't think he would want to be reminded of that.

I can see Laurie/Val, Jana/Gleb, and Jake/Jenna being the final 3. Maureen will probably be an alright dancer but will be a fan favorite since she's Marcia Brady and maybe end up fourth or fifth. Rick Perry can gtfo.
Man, poor Max and Derek . Obviously, their "acting" careers/aspirations have just gone nowhere but come guys you could at least hold out a couple of more seasons before desperately crawling back to the regular paycheck

But let's think about it. Val has only had a teenage partner once, and that was 7 seasons ago. He has had some really great adult partners since then, and did win a mirror ball with a really great star, Rumer Willis. Since they are allowing teens to be a part of the show, some pros have to be paired with them. It's not all about who they deserve as a partner. Derek and Mark have had their share of teenager partners as well like Sadie Robertson, Bethany Mota, Shawn Johnson, Willows Shields, and Ali Raisman. It's called they all have to take a turn. Every teen star can't be compared to another. They all bring something different. Laurie seems to be fearless and a very mature young lady. I know Val will work well with her. I honestly think they could be the team to beat!
