Great recommendation! We will look into one of these for a van back home, we also don't have a shower in it, almost five years of vanlife with no shower 😂😂 🚿🚿 but we LOVE nature swims, it's good for the soul ❤️

Hiya kiddos!! Happy Easter 🐣! Tasmania is so beautiful!! Thank you for taking us along. I hope you have a good week. Safe travels from Southern California 🌴
Hi guys you are amazing finding places we didn’t find on our holidays to Tasmania. The first time I went to Tasmania we were there over the Christmas holidays and we were there for 3 weeks had 4 days dry and the rest it rained it even snowed up on Mt Wellington, it was 9 deg Celsius on Christmas Day. The next time we were there for 4 weeks and we had perfect weather. I hope you enjoy the rest of your trip to Tasmania. Lots of Love and prayers 😊🏝🦋💖🦮🙏🏻 Safe travels

Welcome to Tassie, mighty glad you’re enjoying our beautiful state! Randomly found you guys here on UA-cam a couple of weeks ago … what a find! So far I’ve enjoyed your mainland Australia videos, mystical Scotland and, of course, Tassie. Excited to watch more: loving your outlook on life, the simple joy and humour found in every situation. Wonder if you’re coming to the far North West (check out Stanley). Cheers & thank you.

Hi Philly and Keely. Tasmania looks so beautiful . Hope you managed to restock your fridge as Cucumber and Mustard wouldn’t satisfy you much 😃 Take care. Nick
Thankfully wasn't as bad as predicted heading to Ballyliffin Donegal on Monday to celebrate 52 years married on 15/04/24. Looking forward to seeing your video 🤗👍💚
Loved the video my husband watched it with me this time and really enjoyed it. Tasmania is really beautiful and it's easy to see that you are both so happy on this part of the trip. Videos are very professional and keep getting better. Loved it looking forward to next week already. Will be watching from Galway as we are away for a few days 🤗🥰💚
Good afternoon Keely and Philly looks like Taz is amazing not like the hell road in Australia glad you didn’t have to eat toast and beans all you egg trip glad you got a swim but where’s the 👿 take care love you guys your the best 😘👿☕️☕️☕️🐣🐇
Loving your humour. Other than Tasmania I have lived 10 years in northern Queensland in Mackay. If one likes the bush and coast line there is so much more to see here. My mum at 85 has spent her life in Tasmania spending a lot of time bushwalking and sightseeing and has not seen it all. When I finish watching the Australian videos I am going to go back to watch your videos from the beginning. Pity we did not get to meet.
Did you notice that the takeaway containers were compostable. All takeaway containers in Hobart are. No plastic. Hobart City Council very environmentally sound.
@@phillyandkeely the young man lived. He was known for unsafe driving. Am hoping he began driving more safely after that. Thankfully I had first aid gear, traffic triangles, blankets etc. in the boot, and other drivers stopped to assist while I drove on to The Wombat Roadhouse to make sure the ambulance had been dispatched.
My kids are literally camping at Brady’s lake and white water canoeing channel right now. They go there to train and do Australian Canoe Slalom Whitewater Competitions. They are training all of this week and then will be doing the Australian All States Canoe Slalom Comp on the weekend coming. Beautiful spot. Can get really cold though and snow. The kids say that the water is freezing to kayak in, but they absolutely love it. It has a crazy waterfall/drop that they whitewater down. Looks scary, but my kids say it’s lots of fun. Can be bad if you get the line wrong, so needs lots of training and experience before you can do the drop… but I think that the fear is part of the thrill. I use to do photography for the events my kids went to, but find myself ill with Long-Covid (PASC) and live vicariously through UA-camrs now lol. Brady’s was lovely spot to photograph the event, but very cold. I was actually feeling a little sad that my husband and kids were down there without me, this really cheered me up.
Thank you so much. ❤ BTW south pacific bees are not ao agressive, they move off pretty quick if you wave your hands at them. ..and was that a bee floating by after your swim @ 16:47 ? Love you ..
Might be European wasps too. Bit of a problem here in Tassie. I live in the southern midlands and hardly see bees at all. See a few Bumble Bees but that's all.
Yes, I court up with your videos in tassie. I hope you get to Port Arthur it's a big part of Australian history. If not, there's a great blow hole at eaglehawk neck the road to Port Arthur, and back a few years ago, I was there. I went to a funny named town with funny names of streets or houses. im sure you guys would get a kick out of it. Stay safe, guys. I can't wait for the next video ❤ ps stick around tassie long enough. There will be snow, lol
Always love your videos! 💗 love the excitement over beans on toast! Haha😆Since travelling Asia I’m (Ashleigh) craving jacket potato with beans and cheese!! Yum! 😋 Also the Thai food looked delicious! Glad you’re having such a great time! Definitely adding Tasmania to our Australia trip! 🇦🇺 xx
As an Adelaidian I had to fact check if it was Hobart or Adelaide. My quick google found this, "Hobart is Australia's second-driest capital (after Adelaide)". Considering how little rain Adelaide or even South Australia itself gets I am not surprised it's the driest. However knowing Hobart is the second driest on a wet Island like Tasmania, that is surprising. Come to think of it every time I have been to Hobart (5 times n different seasons) it has been freezing or lovely and warm. I don't really remember rain funny enough. I am sure it does rain though... obviously just not when I have been there.
Yeah I seen that too later when I fact checked myself 🤣🤣 I think I must have seen "one of Australia's driest cities" which is crazy on such a wet state! Apparently the rain clouds gather on mount Wellington which creates a drier city ⛰️❤️
@@phillyandkeely ah that would make sense. The times I have experiences Hobart cold is when it snows on Mt Wellington. It is a pretty big mountain and it clearly demands all of the attention.
@@phillyandkeely there are no roads on Maria. You can definitely explore the town of Darlington in a day trip, but if you wanted to see more of the island you would need to camp. You can take the van on the ferry to Bruny Island which is also worth seeing 😍 King & Flinders Islands both involve a flight and a hire car, so a bit more difficult..
I was only thinking about you both and what time was you going to post and low and behold...😁 Loved the content as per... You've done so much in your 26yrs....who would have thought 😂 I was just thinking. With Philly being Magneto, did you really need solar panels? Regarding the Geo centres, have you done any in the UK? Think it's a great idea though...let's have a geo centre race, in the style of Captain Scott and Admunsen...see who gets there 1st...😂😂. You up for it Simba and Pumba 😂.... See you next week guys 💚💚

OMG you guys are in Tassie? How cool, that's where I grew up, sorry I've been busy and need to catch up therefore I haven't seen your vids yet so this might be too late. So, I lived in Tunbridge and went to school in Oatlands. If you get to Tunbridge go up the Tier road. North of there is at the really old town of Ross (founded 1812 it's one of the oldest towns in Tas) lots of old stuff there, then to Oatlands, an old convict town in the middle (east), go check out the windmill, distillery behind, school, the Kentish (pub) and RSL for a great meal, the museum, and park at Lake Dulverton camp site, see the topiary animals (you might like those Keely) and you could get a dip there too I reckon. Should you get there and fancy doing a fan a favour, grab a pic outside 37, High Street (house set back with gable windows and a fountain in front) we used to own that and my father did the renovations such as the windows and extension out the back, in around 1982. Awww so jealous, enjoy your time there guys X 🥰☺👍

I love watching your videos you two, Tassie is a dream. Just a note for Philly - the ongoing comments around weight and food are uncomfortable to watch.
Thankyou ❤️ Tassie is so beaut. If I had insecurities around it there would be no comments, it's not an issue or concern for either of us which is why jokes are jokes, if there was any undertone it would be uncomfortable but I assure you there isn't so don't worry 🥰🥰 my love of food is always going to be a running theme and not one I am uncomfortable with haha
@@phillyandkeely O yes! I perceived it as a joke between you two and can feel & enjoy the innocence and silliness you share : D My discomfort is for what it perpetuates within society - it’s not a neutral topic but one that causes a lot of harm. Another great video guys, you two are such a lovely couple and always brighten up our day. Take care and look forward to next week’s video👍
Thanks so much Martyn ❤️❤️
Perhaps you guys should have spent the last 5 months in Tasmania. Looks absolutely stunning. Shame the series is ending.....
Yeah soooo beautiful ❤️ we have filmed a ridiculous amount of footage while in Tasmania, so I reckon 5 weeks of travel will be like 8 vlogs 🤣 so mad ahead on videos now 🤪🤪
@@phillyandkeely Hope it brings that remaining 82K followers you two deserve 😇😇
Change of plan Storm Kathleen arriving Saturday 😢Salthill postponed😂Will be watching from Derry looking forward to seeing what you're getting up to this week
How have you been dealing with Storm Kathleen? Our video will be up next week instead ❤️
Hi Philly and Keely. Tasmania looks so beautiful . Hope you managed to restock your fridge as Cucumber and Mustard wouldn’t satisfy you much 😃 Take care. Nick
Haha thanks Nick, fridge well stocked now 💪
Thankfully wasn't as bad as predicted heading to Ballyliffin Donegal on Monday to celebrate 52 years married on 15/04/24. Looking forward to seeing your video 🤗👍💚
That's incredible! Congrats on that many years married, we love love
You are deffinately an inspiration keely. Taking looks beautiful, enjoy x😊
Thanks so much 🥰🥰
Nice one
Thanks Veronica ❤️
Yes! You could spend at least a couple of months driving around the US, going to the geographical center of every contiguous state! 🤪
That sounds like fun!
Theres a $10 camp at brighton oval just north of bridgewater the bak ery has the best scallop pies and almond croissants
Oh baby, would love an almond croissant!
Oh wow lovely! Galway is where we had our honeymoon ❤️ beautiful area!
Salthill gorgeous 👌👍
Good afternoon Keely and Philly looks like Taz is amazing not like the hell road in Australia glad you didn’t have to eat toast and beans all you egg trip glad you got a swim but where’s the 👿 take care love you guys your the best 😘👿☕️☕️☕️🐣🐇
Thanks so much Linda 🥰🥰
Danke!
Thanks so much 🥰🥰🥰
Loving your humour.
Awww thanks so much Susan ❤️❤️ Tasmania is such a special place
Happy Easter to you both! Also where you are at in the last part looks like Ireland or somewhere on the English coast! Lol..
I know really does! We think lots of Tasmania is like Scotland/Ireland
@@phillyandkeely yes true!
I just started watching you guys. You should do Launceston Tasmania
❤️❤️❤️
That cow is Aimee!
🐄🐄🐄❤️❤️❤️
Very wise words, thank you
❤️
You're in Tassie, if you want to see a live snake, simply check under your pillow when you wake up in the morning. P.S. Snakes don't snore! 😊
🤣🤣🤣🐍🐍🐍
Tassie is beautiful ❤️❤️😍😍 love you guys xxx
So beautiful 🥰🥰
Did you notice that the takeaway containers were compostable. All takeaway containers in Hobart are. No plastic. Hobart City Council very environmentally sound.
That's so cool!! I realise that, go Hobart 💪💪
Great video as always 😊
Thankyou Melissa ❤️❤️❤️
I used to drive Zeehan-Hobart up to 6 times each week. Came across a nasty MVA at the remotest point.
That's a beautiful drive. I have no idea what an MVA is though 😂
@@phillyandkeely motor vehicle accident.
@@PropheticSoakingwithSarahJER oh no that's terrible 💔💔
Wow your kids sound very brave! I would hate doing drop down waterfalls haha! Very bad ass of them, and awesome that they are doing comps!
Yes that was a bee floating by!! 🤣 We noticed that ourselves when editting, had a wee chuckle that he was back haha. He didn't seem aggressive ❤️❤️
I feel lucky then because I'm pretty sure it was a little fuzzy bee 🥰🥰 if it was a wasp I would not have been calling him friend 🤣🤣
@@phillyandkeely Yes, I guess you've seen those wasps heaps in other countries.
I like the way u ignored the DANGER no swimming strong current sign!! Tut tut
That was only for beside the river entrance to the lake, we asked locals they said it wasnt the lake itself only for the river
Yesss we go to the blow hole, it will be in next week's video 💪💪 such an incredibly beautiful area 😍😍
@phillyandkeely and, if possible, go there when the tides coming in might see why they call it a blow hole
I’m with Keely, after being told there was no food, to toast to beans on toast, I would have been next level excited (F55)
🤣🤣 love the fellow BOT enthusiast
Cool
Thankyou ❤️
It’s too cold in Tassie for can living in the months of may to September
Yeah travelling around Australia is definitely dictated by the seasons!
🇦🇺 xx
Defo add Tassie to your roadtrip bucket list!! I understand that craving!
Brilliant episode better than snowy cold Scotland how do you decide we’re to swim is safe
Tasmania is pretty much all safe from what we have heard 🤞🤞 and I think the best bet with Australia is always asking locals.
Travel safe best Regards NUNO Portugal and Geraldine Horner BURNLEY
Thanks so much ❤️❤️❤️
Wow guys loving you vlogs, have you not seen a Tasmanian devil 😈 lol . That would be pretty amazing 😮 well happy travels stay safe ❤️
That would be sooooo amazing!!!
I love beans on toast guy’s.👍🏴💯
Yessss
Hi Guys love your videos im near Melbourne cant wait for you nexted video
ps are you going to explore victoria
We love Victoria! It was the first place we explored in our van before we went to the outback and then Tasmania ❤️❤️❤️
@@phillyandkeely ok i didnt see any videos of victoria
Hello from Burnie, Tasmania 🙋🏼♀️ if it's not already on your list, you absolutely have to visit Maria Island while you're in the east ❤
Hello to you in Burnie 🥰🥰 we had been toying with idea of islands, but also not sure what the situation with a van would be.
Envious of the weather their ! I live in uk brrrr 😂
Yeah we've been blessed with the sun in tas ❤️☀️ apparently it's rare ahha
@@phillyandkeely yes the uk needs to be dragged closer to the equator for sure !happy camping guys
I was only thinking about you both and what time was you going to post and low and behold...😁
Loved the content as per...
You've done so much in your 26yrs....who would have thought 😂
I was just thinking.
We are up for anything 😂😂 love love Manc ❤️
@@phillyandkeely Yaaaaayyyy, let's do this. Well, when I can drive again 😂😂. 💚💚
Loving seeing you two in Tasmania. Thank you, take care and safe travels. ps. I hope you do get to see a live snake. Sad that Tiger snake was killed on the road. All the best. xxx.
I know it was such a beautiful snake too ❤️❤️
I have never seen a place like Tasmania for roadkill 👍
Shows it has Plenty of beautiful wildlife I suppose 🥰
Welcome back 🥰🥰 hope you are well and have been busy with good things 💪💪we are long out of the area now, but if we are ever back in Tassie we will defo check these out 🥰🥰
@@phillyandkeely Hey. Sorry for delay, been busy again 🙄Haha, I figured you would be but worth a mention. Yeah for sure you should, it's a beautiful area
Yay LPG… a few streets up is the best eat street in tas
That's good to know if we are ever back ❤️
I love watching your videos you two, Tassie is a dream.
I perceived it as a joke between you two and can feel & enjoy the innocence and silliness you share : D
My discomfort is for what it perpetuates within society - it’s not a neutral topic but one that causes a lot of harm. Rates of body dysmorphia and disordered eating are only increasing.
Ps I’m only referring to the body size comments, not eating and being hungry! Mangia mangia, Tassie has such incredible fresh and local ingredients! 💫💛
Just found your channel, great video! New subscriber!❤❤
Thanks so much 🥰🥰 glad you found us!
If you're heading south of Hobart there is a great free camp with 🚻's @ COCKLE CREEK. Also, there is a warm thermal springs swimming pool just south of SOUTHPORT. BAY OF FIRES 🔥 on the north east coast have excellent free camps on the beaches with 🚻's . St. MARY'S is also a great free camp with flush 🚻's and 2 dollar coin hot 🚿 showers. TUNNACK is also a great free camp and you will get a good night's sleep as it's in the countryside and no traffic noise. Safe travels you two . 👍
Thanks so much for all these recommendations!! So excited to show everyone Bay of fires, It will be one of our last stops 🥰
