Everyone would say Rashford was bad last season. He only had 4 fewer goal involvements than sterling.
The season before that, Marcus scored 21 MORE goals than sterling, and got 6 more assists.
Marcus is three years younger, you'd expect he can still improve.
People are so eager to play down and write off Marcus, despite evidence of his quality and potential.

Raheem is 29. He's already peaked, and in this stage of his career, is already not as good as Marcus, who is yet to reach his peak. 🤷🏻♂️

I’m a united fan and I would 100% take Sterling, a player with a point to prove is dangerous. I also believe the experience of winning will be great for the squad especially for the youngsters like Hoijlund, Zeerkee, Mainoo and Garnacho et al. We also need the depth in our forward players as it will be a long season with Europa League to play as well as domestic cups and league.
