This album is a staple in my home. My mom purchased it for me back in 1970, and I played it for all of my children. My kids would request to hear it every year. My kids range in age from 36 to 22 they love it.
@@MJFANGIRLTVI just read and downloaded the book 📚 I was Michael Jackson Lover by Victor Guiterrez..I know MJ sued and won from the author..but the details and pictures don't lie...I will always be a MJ fan..but I do know the man was human first and foremost and like most humans had faults 🧐🤔
My favorite song is their version of "I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus" because I've just started listening to Christmas music recently while sort of decorating and Michael sounds SOOO cute! Even though they didn't celebrate Christmas while growing up, it's still nice to hear these brothers sing classic holiday songs. 🎅
Little Christmas Tree has played a lot in my home country at Christmas time since the 90s. When I got the CD in...I think, '95, I was shocked to see it wasn't on there as I assumed it was a J5 song. 😅 Up on the Housetop is my fav. Special mention to Christmas Won't be the Same. Awesome video ladies 😊 Awesome
Hi MJ fan girl and Tory, great to see you both , great video, I love this album so much, I hear songs from this album so many times during Christmas season wherever I go, especially Santa Claus is coming to town ' and ' mommy kissing Santa Claus ' so happy feeling to hear little Michael and the brothers , Merry Christmas 🎄💖🙏🏻👑🤟🦋🌻
Mine is Have Yourself a Mery Little Christmas. I love how they harmonize on the song and how they added We Wish You A Mery Christmas at the end of the song.
i remember......my neighbor up the street from me~~ came down the street showing the album , we were just excited///just staring at the pictures...i remember looking at their hair..and it's clear they rushed these photos..no shape ups! LOL!! just natural . The Temptations recorded their christmas album in the summer as well!~ come to find out ! that's common practice. we think because we here it around Christmas ,that they recorded them around December ! NOTT!! LOL!!
I remember I bought the Audio cassette of The Christmas album when I was a Teenager around the late 80's. And later on got a gift from my The Ultimate Jackson 5 Christmas album ❤. My favourite one is Give Love On Christmas Day. I just Love MJ's voice . ❤
My favorites Jackson 5 Christmas songs are Give love on Christmas Day, I saw mommy kissing Santa Claus, up on house top, Have yourselves a merry Christmas
I've long found it rather ironic that the Jacksons released Christmas albums, despite not being allowed to celebrate that holiday themselves when they were young.
We wore out that J5 Christmas Album!!! I think my older Sister brought it for all of us (6) younger siblings in 1970. I am going to buy another few copies for the next generations of children in our Family. ¡Feliz Navidad a todos en el mundo!🌈🌹🌿
Oh and I count Earth song as an Xmas song because it was the Xmas number 1 here in the UK back in 95. If Die hard counts as an Xmas movie then I can count it. 😅😅
Give Love on Christmas Day is ultra incredible performance by Michael, so much genuine emotional & vocal power, with an intuitive awareness of the meaning of the song. Of course the whole album is a gem collection. Whatever Jermaine’s age was at that point, he sounded precociously grown on the classics Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas & The Christmas Song, + the drama of Christmas Won’t be the Same. Funny solo spots on Frosty the Snowman. Great memories attached to the J5 Christmas Album, no doubt.🧡🌟
Love the channel but I think technically he did have a solo Christmas song. I think it was called “Little Christmas Tree” where he sings “ little Christmas tree looking sort of sad and lonely just like me. No one seems to care. They just went away and left him standing there all alone on Christmas Eve.” It was released on a Motown holiday album around 72-73
I would LOVE to see a video of your top favorite Jackson 5 / Jackson's tracks where MJ is not the lead vocalist and/or duets For example: I Am Love,, I Found That Girl, Torture, Bless His Soul, ect. That would be hella interesting!
Up on rhe Housetop has been my favorite for over 50 yrs,. From experience and comments, you may want to reconsider who you think never heard of something beyond. youself.
@MJFANGIRLTV ooo yes I got you! Hey do you think he actually may have recorded it in '72? His voice changed So much through the summer of 73. I know it was released on the Motown christmas compilation, but I suspect Michael recorded the song between recording "Ben" and "Skywriter". What say you?
Good point- I should’ve mentioned this in the video! Sometimes things slip through the cracks when trying to keep the video concise. Appreciate the feedback
Was released in Oct that when jehovha in the bible said that jesus was born on October that we believe in I jehovha whitness also nice video that probably why they released in October nice to see you love the music of Michael
Thank you for having me on! Again, having these types of discussions brings back that appreciation for The Jacksons' music for me 🎶💗
It amazes me that this album is not in the top 10 best selling Christmas Albums of all time. We have to do something to change this.
This album is a staple in my home. My mom purchased it for me back in 1970, and I played it for all of my children. My kids would request to hear it every year. My kids range in age from 36 to 22 they love it.
My #1 favorite on the Christmas album is “Give Love on Christmas Day.” My God, It just sounds so beautiful! ❤️
I bought this album when it came out in 1970 as a 15 year old and my family loved this album.
My favorite on the Christmas album is Little Drummer Boy. I just love Michael's voice on that track. The entire album is great. Thanks for posting ❤
It’s a classic! Thanks for watching :)
@MJFANGIRLTV you're welcome 😊

I've always thought that "Don't stop till you get enough"🎶🎵🎼 is a Christmas 🎄song, because we play it at every Christmas 🎄party.🎉🥳🍻🍺🍷

Michael did have a solo Christmas song. It’s called “Little Christmas Tree” on Motown Records. You can look the song up. 100% real.
Michael Jackson the goat. Mj fan girl is amazing
I love Michaael's solo Christmas song. For some reason it almost makes me want to cry when I hear it.

I wasn’t expecting to learn anything about the Christmas album, thanks so much for this video. 🔥🔥
No problem!! I appreciate you commenting and watching!
I love "Christmas won't be the Same" and "Little Christmas Tree" both original songs by the Jackson 5.

I'm looking for the video of the Jackson 5 wearing Santa Claus suits singing Santa Claus is comin to town
This girl is so inspirational I'm glad we talked about some I'm released Christmas songs❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

Its just the first generation of The Jackson 5 music for me im most fond of i love their later work but their earlier music stands out more to me

Wow! What a great family tradition! 😊
I used to play it every year when I was a kid. I still have it but I got sick of xmas music played from Sep in the uk shops that I don't play it now.
Oh and I count Earth song as an Xmas song because it was the Xmas number 1 here in the UK back in 95. If Die hard counts as an Xmas movie then I can count it. 😅😅
Oh wow! Number 1 for Christmas? So interesting! I didn’t know that lol
@@MJFANGIRLTV I sense a degree of sarcasm 🤣🤣
@@djstumpy7399 no I was not being sarcastic! I actually didn’t know lol sorry if it came off that way
@MJFANGIRLTV It's cool I was having a joke 🤣🤣
Respect and appreciate your channel and the J5 holiday album always was the truth

If you notice, they're wearing the same clothes on the Christmas album as the "Third Album". Which makes sense what Jackie said. ❤
Give love on Christmas Day is my favorite song on the album.
Amazing video 👍👍👍
Thank you so much for watching!
That album topped off a great first year for the Jackson Five. Unfortunately, l was only able to see them once on television that year.
Love you so much ❤❤❤ you are the best!
Thank you so much! 🤗
I liked that Jackson 5 Christmas album 💐💐👍🎶👌❤️🥰
Up on the House top was real funky!
This album I heard when I was like 5 years old
UP ON THE HOUSE TOP JACKSON 5👍🏽💯
"Christmas Won't be the same" was the first single released from the Christmas album .

MICHAEL JACKSON'S "Little Christmas Tree" 1973. His one and only solo Christmas song.
Yes!
Have yourself a Merry Little Christmas. Is my song.
I knew that! ❤
Merry Christmas yall.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
How can Someday At Christmas be one of her favorites and she doesn't know that it is a DUET between Michael and Jermaine. It isn't just Michael.

I’ve known about this every since I was a little kid. I can’t understand the title.
He was raised Jehovah's Witness! This is why there really wasn't any emphasis on Christmas songs and music among the Jacksons
Yes! So true
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😊
