We can't do all the good that the world needs, but the world needs all the good we CAN do. Amber you ARE magical! 🎉 happy gardening 🙏

But also if you feel sick almost all the time, you gotta do the stuff you enjoy doing right? Which it seems to me that the garden work and house work does for you probably. I know I enjoy it even when its hard work. My husband was going over a similar issue with his therapist and they came to the conclusion that sometimes its better to enjoy your self and power through a bit, its better than just suffer and think about everything youd like to be doing instead🙏❤

    You’re doing amazingly!
Try writing a must do list- food, wood, feed animals then add a could do- add one thing like pick your toms writing a massive list that you can’t humanly complete will make you feel like a failure,
Have a master list for house, repairs diy garden and just add one small thing on your must do list - you are custodian of your piece of earth forever , it takes time, time is on your side, rest and enjoy just being there x that said I’m an adhd doer in a disabled chronically ill body ( drives me nuts!) xxx much love xxx

You get an amazing amount done in my opinion. You can only do, what you can do. Take care of yourself Amber.❤

I am so with you on the issue of small cloves. I have been selecting the best, largest cloves each year for the past three years. My bulbs this year were average size, but had between 3-5 cloves each. They have been growing each year( pun intended)! Just planted the “mid-sized” ones this year. I was afraid I would end up with bulbs with 1-2 cloves 😂

That's awesome! We love the larger cloves, so much easier to peel and work with :)

Plant what you like. And don't feel bad about pushing your self when you need to slow down. I push myself way to much sometimes and don't learn. I have arthritis in my back and neuropathy. So sometimes I'm hurting really bad and still push. A family friends youngest daughter got married the end of September and I helped set up the reception and there was only 3 of us doing it. Most of the time 2 of us. When I got home that night I was hurting but would do it again

I want to say it’s hard to prioritize your mental health and physical health when you have a chronic illness. My brain doesn’t want to sit around, my mental health feels good when I do projects and garden but it’s hard physically on my body. Sometimes I knowingly choose my mental health and push through the pain because it makes me happy.

Pushing to do stuff is often essential for people living with chronic illness. After a push day, I'll consider that i did too much if i need more than 2 days rest to recover. Ideally i take it easy the next day, and a bit more the next day without pushing too hard. It's a balancing act for sure

Also great call on only growing garlic with large cloves, what varieties do you grow?

Me too sister. I am a MAJOR do stuff person stuck in a sick persons body. I have said the same thing for over 15 years now. I am also extremely chronically ill, but I push myself and do the things and also end up on the couch or in bed...Just how it is...
