- This was the first song I extended. And honestly, I didn't do a good job of it. I had been planning to redo it later on, but I was always too lazy to do it.
Then EVO 2011 happened. And I decided to post the themes of the characters who I was supporting. And Poongko's Seth was one of them. So here you go - a remake of this, which should be of much higher quality.

I will never forget fighting Seth on hardest difficulty in arcade mode (the regular hardest bot is easy compared to the arcade version) so many game overs trying to avoid his moves & fight him then one day I actually beat him on that difficulty it remains one of my greatest ever video game achievements.
This theme I never forgot either...

Seth isn't as cheap as people says. If you understand SF, you can beat him just as easily as he can beat you. He's just good at offense
i beated him pretty easy with el fuerte you just need to wait to the exact moment when he makes a mistake and punish him for it... or you can just be like me and FAJITA BUSTEERRR!
***** No he wasn't. Gill had crazy range, double-hit fireballs and resurrection; after that he was basically Urien/Sagat. Seth Mk2's teleport has apparently zero recovery time (FFS!), meaning that when he teleports in front of you, you can block (in which case you get the command grab and take ~30% damage), do a frame-perfect throw (in which case you get tech'd 8/10 times), or attack (insta-teleport behind you > unblockable command grab).
The only reason he's easier to beat is because Gill is, ahem, inexpensive to begin with, whereas Seth only becomes Cheapington McCheapskate after the first round.

Nah man, Gill was pretty damn cheap.
Maybe not in terms of gameplay, but move wise. I mean, his only balanced super is the one where he calls all those balls down on you.
His seraph wing does a shit ton of damage, even when you block, resurrection is annoying as fuck. There's a chance you can interrupt it, but goddamn, it's near impossible.
At least Seth's predictable after awhile, and none of his moves do insane amounts of damage, and he can't resurrect himself (FFS)

Yes, tier lists don't define everything, but they show which characters will often be the better ones.
Seth is a beast, he does everything, they put him with less hp so he wouldn't be so overpowered, but he still is.

And that keeps you from playing him? He as an overall incredible zoning game. My only problem with him is that some of his special moves overlap and I end up doing the wrong one by accident sometimes. Other than that, he's pretty beast: Best shoryuken in the game, a command grab, projectiles and fuck he can even teleport!

@Ari Jappendi He was forced to merge his SF4 body with Doll Unit 0 following the destruction of the other Seth bodies, and heavy damage to his own body (hence why his Nostalgia Costume has a darkened midsection from where Juri stomped it).
The reason Doll Unit 0 looks kinda like Juri is because Seth's programming recalls her as the last fighter to defeat him, and thus who he should focus on surpassing.
His true form, shown when using a stolen move, is still male in appearance, but is black with glowing green highlights.
Personally, I like the OG Seth look, so I'm gonna be using Nostalgia Costume.
P.S: I have a theory that G will defeat this new Seth, and thus Seth will become Q, again trying to mimic the style of the latest person to defeat him.
I like him as a final boss more than M.Bison.

Anyone else find it to be weird that the game says that his stage is in an unknown location, and then points to an island just off America? Why tell us, then?
EDIT: It's more in the middle of the Atlantic than "just off [Mainland] America".
I think that according to Oni’s ending, it’s just under the Volcanic Rim stage.

That Shoryuken can be a thing of nightmares at times.
Maybe its just me, but Seth's gotten a bit easier compared to how he was in the original SFIV.
That or maybe I just got better.

When I first came to arcade mode and fought seth(around 20 times XD)I Though that was hes theme but when i unlocked all characters(Even Gouken and Akuma...Well first i unlocked Akuma and THEN Gouken)and i played as Seth,Ive arrived to the rival stage(Abel/Hakan)I listen to a diferent theme(Not Abels either Hakans one)That it is prety simliar to tis theme lol got f****ed

Seth is the second character I play most with. His Shoryuken is the best in the game, the one that does the more damage, he has good teleport like Dhalsim or maybe even better, he's got Atomic Buster, which does a lot of damage. His Sonicboom is a really good, a fast projectile which does average damage.
You may not think tier list are absolute, which I agree with you, but if Seth is the top tier, he cannot be a bad character.

He gets easier if you play Ken. Cause like I figured out if you get too close he'd command grab you and if you jump he'll anti air you with a Shoryuken... But if you Tatsumaki and land it then he's gonna try to command grab. I would just dash back when he does that..

It's not so much zoning as just sheer mixup potential. Think of Seth as an exaggerated version of Akuma, mixed with a bit of Yun. Executed properly, Seth can get in an opponent's face quickly and keep on strong pressure. He has almost every trick in the game at his disposal. On top of that, his ultras are extremely versatile and easy to land.
Regardless of the cautions associated with the use of tier lists, Seth is still one of the best characters in the game.
