- Carry on my wayward son! Time to talk about Supernatural, one of my favorite shows, so yes I have a bias. That being said, does the first episode have what it takes, or is all just nostalgia?

Covid ruined the final episode. What had been planned was absolutely fantastic, including Kansas performing Carry On in a bar where everyone including many reoccurring characters reunite in Heaven. Unfortunately, it all changed due to Covid quarentine issues. I really wish they would have redone that episode once the bans were all lifted, it would have been spectacular.
Ohh, I didn't know any of that. That would've been amazing. Stupid covid
The first episode definitely has what it takes in my opinion. It sets the tone for the whole show. The Classic Rock, the banter. That's what kept brining me back before the story really grabbed hold of me. I didn't watch Supernatural until after the third season was over. I made the foolish assumption that it was just gonna be a Charmed knocked off. Boy, was I fucking wrong! lol
I don't think I will ever love another show as much as I love Supernatural, especially the first five seasons. If the show would have ended with "Swan Song" in season 5, it would have been the perfect TV show. Season 6, 7 and 8 lagged a little bit, but I still love them. Things got really interesting again in season 9 with the Mark of Cain. I think Supernatural's handling of Biblical mythology was nothing short of brilliant.
I'm currently rewatching and I'm enjoying the ride. I'm only halfway through season 1. So far episode 9 has been the best.
@@WeDontKnowInc Things get real serious in the last three episodes... I think the best episode of season 1 is episode 22, "Devil's Trap".
It would be nice if you showed a few clips of the scenes you're talking about. It would really help you in terms of new viewer/show fan viewership.
There are certain clips, even from trailers or season reviews that you can use without triggering UA-cam copyright nonsense. The Chanel "Wayward Winchesters" does something similar and I still go back just to rewatch some ofy favourite scenes even from 6 years ago.
I appreciate the suggestion. Right now I'm just trying to upload my older episodes, so I can catch up to where I'm currently at.
