I'm really considering getting the A51, but still somewhat hesitating with an Oppo A93 / Reno 3. A good news on the Samsung front is that it has recently and publicly committed to deliver 3 major Android updates for the A51, A71, and above, with Android 11 expected for March. This is for me a key selling point.
Just bought a 6gb version for my son in the UK for £197. Amazing value for money. The screen and camera is amazing. Pound for pound its hard to find better

Yeah I agree, if I want better sound quality I just plug in my headphones or connect to the stereo instead. Especially for just watching UA-cam videos casually
@B B for the a51? the performance is really good for a midrange phone, it does get a little bit slow on apps like chrome but overall it is quite fast. and on days like today where I have been surfing for laptops it has comfortably lasted me the whole day while still having 32 percent battery left. I still recommend buying this from a sale to get better value, eg. in australia a51 was from 500 to 600 dollars and i found a Christmas sale for $350. Or for the better camera get the a71 for an extra hundred or two. But the camera in the a51 is already really good so I dont think an upgrade is necessary

*I purchased my Galaxy A51(6GB Ram,128GB storage in Prism Blue)on 1st June and here is my personal long term review* : My Usage And Needs: All I wanted was a great display , smooth OS functioning and I rarely play games , BUT I do lots of multitasking , also it helps a lot in online classes opening up PDFs , Browser , Zoom at the same time. *Display* : Its good , even in sunlight you can see the display easily without any hassle. Its 60 hertz by the way but colour accuracy and black points are GREAT. *Built Quality* : See in terms of looks, weight and feels its very light and feels premium. But its basically a plastic built so you must use a cover for longer durability. The thing is even if it falls it wont break the backside panel cuz its Glastic! (plastic) *Speakers* : Single speaker is there but good enough , not bad. You get dolby atmos feature which can be activated through external Audio device *Operating System* : Its just too good! no lags , smooth android 10 gestures , u may see lags like 4 times for milliseconds in a week or so but thats negotiable. Its UI got all Features from Galaxy Flagship lineup in terms of software. Has Samsung Knox , Altz feature , Edge lighting , bixby , always on display and soo on. Also recently samsung released the list of devices which stated that the mentioned devices will get 3 major OS upgrades in which A51 was also there! It got Lots of features p.s Since I am from India , my unit is loaded with lots of bloatware and galaxy store keeps installing third party apps , but can be unininstalled easily , for other regions its not a big deal. *Performance* : For Multitasking , RAM management and heavy editing its justtt fineeeeee. Not much of a complain here. Vut If u r a piwer hunger or power user then u may face lags or delays or heating but it gets cooled down within seconds. *Cameras* : Got all essential features that a samsung flagship has , quality is also quite acceptable. In daylight it captures great shots and capture great details *Battery* : in early days it lasted me for whole day , but I recklessly charged my device day and night even kept full charged overnight so it Damaged my battery health a little but. But it will easily get u through 7 to 9 hours easily. It got 15 watt fast charger which charges the device 0 to 100% in almost 2 hours.Little downside here *Conclusion* : I will give it a rating of 8.8 out of 10. Just go for it. *MAKE SURE U GET THE 8GB VARIANT CUZ ITS NOW CHEAPER AND VALUABLE*

i am using A51 (6gb varient) for 6 months & i am loving this phone very much . i would love to recommend this phone to others. best mid range phone ever with great looks
I'm using the EU version (Exy) with 4GB RAM. I don't recommend for heavy users because this phone constantly lags and slows down due to low memory situations. This is very good phone if you never multitask, snappy with games as well. But One UI is slowing down especially with 2.5 update. Buy the A71 instead. Zero other problems, hardware is holding up well, but battery is sucks 4-6h SOT, but if you using corporate bloat work profile etc... it can low as 3h of SOT, thanks to low ram, and constant application loading from the storage. I de-bloated mine, but just a marginally got better, in the video you can se how Lean is TechDaily's home screen, this is how you should use this phone. At the end, you can get something more powerful from Xiaomi for this price with their own compromises, or you can just buy a 2 year old new old stock Note 9 or S9.
I got the phone two weeks ago since my sister is renewing her plan. I got this phone at a lower price cashout and its way more better than my previous phone. And my version of Galaxy A51 has 8gb of RAM so multi tasking and switching of apps is a breeze. This is my christmas 2020 gift by the way and if your thinking buying a new phone that has flagship specs but not hurting your wallet then consider the Galaxy A51!

I got this phone about 2 to 3 weeks ago and you were right about the phone and thank you for recommending this phone to me and everyone. I wanted to ask if it is ok to charge this phone twice a day?
I have had mine for almost two months coming from a cheapy phone and Am so upset with BELOW low quality of speakers. Can not hear out of speaker phone when on a call, listening to music it is barely loud enough and I ALWAYS have to hook up to another amplifying device. Listening on the phone without speaker phone is a challenge as well, that I have never had on another device. I would not have spent good money on this phone IF I HAD KNOWN about this ahead of time. Not a bad phone and worth it IF you have blue tooth headphones for calls Also, Can not preschedule a text message from standard messaging feature like with my old Samsung. I am dealing with these ISSUES because the camera is AMAZING!! samsung: please fix the speaker issue. Please.
I am in the market for this phone and so thanks for the thorough review. It's good to get these types of videos for the consumer rather than what's bleeding edge.
3 years laters still working fine. No issues yet except the battery health, which was expected. Gonna replace the battery and I hope it will be good for another 3 years. I hope it can take take another 3 years of abuse 😅
I bought this phone but had to get rid of it. It had great battery life but the processor was the worst i ever encountered on a phone - so underpowered. The camera was fine in good light but truly awful in low light conditions. I moved to a pixel 3a for the same morning & got a flag ship camera, stereo speakers, a higher PPI screen & a much smoother processor experience.
Thank you for this review. I need to know long term and I'm thinking of getting this phone vs the Nokia 3500 that they came out with. Right now I'm using the Moto E and I simply don't like it. Lagging while texting, lagging while watching video. Crappy camera. Many problems with it. I did have the LG Stylo 5 for like a year and a half and it did the whole fatal screen glitch. Loved it before all that happened
My dad upgraded to an A51 and I was really interested in comparing the display to my old samsung phone(S8). And I did by playing a bunch of Full HD videos and and HDR test footage on youtube and I was kinda surprised how my 4 year old phone was just so much better in terms of colour tones! Like a lot! Considering how the A series samsung range these days are marketed as 'Amoled+' I always wondered how the displays really differed b/w the flagships range. The 2K resolution bump is completely meaningless to me so I was more curious about colours and it disappointed me unfortunately. The only upside I found was that the black levels on the A51 were miles ahead of the S8!
I finally save up enough money for this phone but then i realized the A52 might come up soon, so i waited a bit to see what improvement it will have and how much it will cost. Now, it's January 2021 and i heard no mentions about the new upcoming A52. So, i think I'm just gonna get this phone.

@@TechDaily definitely gonna upgrade lol
Yeah cause the successors will have way better performance with new exynos
Because a51 only lacked in terms of performance
It will not be an issue next time 😉
When A51 starts being sold, my sis really loves it and got it, and she still loves it until now 😄
Hiii sir... Now I'm in qatar i also want to buy a51 please help me guys can i buy it ... I'm not playing to much game only COD and PES playing but not to much ...and the normally regular user..

@@NahidHasan-zy7fd Yes you should buy it. I got one for my wife and she loves it. Takes good pictures and the screen is great for watching videos. She has the 6G RAM with 128G of storage. She has a ton of apps on there.
@@bebochekchannel7877 Thanks a lot
@@NahidHasan-zy7fd Your welcome, but I should have also told you that the A51 is now running Android 11 or it is at least here in Russia.
@@bebochekchannel7877 sir here in Qatar also now update now android 11 and one UI 3
Just bought this phone for 100 dollars with straight talk. Best cell phone deal ever
Should get it in a couple of days. Great review.
They wound up being out if stock so I got the a32 5g
bought mine yesterday and am waiting for it to arrive, looking forward to it
Just bought this phone few days ago. I'm amazed by the display and battery life
What about now? 😂
Using an a51 with one ui 2.5 is incredible, i recommend this device. Battery, camera, screen, its just amazing in this gamma media phone, and in march its going to get one ui 3.0
Yess can't wait to experience new One Ui 3 along with Android 11😆
So no delay / stutter etc. in everyday day life use, web browsing, social media, and apps such as Google Maps? Many pro reviewers pointed to this, for example: www.androidauthority.com/samsung-galaxy-a51-review-1123474/
@@marcrodet4900 it has been updating and fixing those problems, i also seen videos bitching about that problems and rn i dont have those ones, comparing it since its release to now is way better in performance.
@@kenxo2754 Thanks and really great news. Performance, given the unimpressive chip and reviews, has been my major concern.
Bought this phone for 100 bucks few weeks ago. Not buying a $500+ phone again, they really dont do much other than be a status symbol for dorks with no life who wait outside apple stores.
blessings my friend ,very informative video , I'll get it from eBay,refurbished ,I liked the withe color like the one you have ,it's a lot cheaper now ,take care man .
Watching this from my single speaker phone, and, you know what?
I think its fine 😂
Yeah I agree, if I want better sound quality I just plug in my headphones or connect to the stereo instead. Especially for just watching UA-cam videos casually
@B B for the a51?
the performance is really good for a midrange phone, it does get a little bit slow on apps like chrome but overall it is quite fast. and on days like today where I have been surfing for laptops it has comfortably lasted me the whole day while still having 32 percent battery left. I still recommend buying this from a sale to get better value, eg. in australia a51 was from 500 to 600 dollars and i found a Christmas sale for $350. Or for the better camera get the a71 for an extra hundred or two. But the camera in the a51 is already really good so I dont think an upgrade is necessary
just got one and there seems to be a massive problem with speaker position. I'm right handed so my finger is constantly blocking it, did you not get this issue?
@@TheAmusementsArcade hmm I did originally but its not a big deal for me coz I just got used to holding it in a different way so the speaker wouldn't be blocked, also when I want quality sound I just plug in headphones or a speaker or something
I like it
It’s only 199$ and I’m getting one with my stimulus!
Thanks for the wonderful reviews you did on this phone!!
Yep I ordered one for 199 aswell

*I purchased my Galaxy A51(6GB Ram,128GB storage in Prism Blue)on 1st June and here is my personal long term review* :
My Usage And Needs: All I wanted was a great display , smooth OS functioning and I rarely play games , BUT I do lots of multitasking , also it helps a lot in online classes opening up PDFs , Browser , Zoom at the same time.
(plastic)
*Speakers* : Single speaker is there but good enough , not bad. You get dolby atmos feature which can be activated through external Audio device
*Operating System* : Its just too good! no lags , smooth android 10 gestures , u may see lags like 4 times for milliseconds in a week or so but thats negotiable. It got Lots of features
p.s Since I am from India , my unit is loaded with lots of bloatware and galaxy store keeps installing third party apps , but can be unininstalled easily , for other regions its not a big deal.
In daylight it captures great shots and capture great details
*Battery* : in early days it lasted me for whole day , but I recklessly charged my device day and night even kept full charged overnight so it Damaged my battery health a little but. But it will easily get u through 7 to 9 hours easily. It got 15 watt fast charger which charges the device 0 to 100% in almost 2 hours.Little downside here
*Conclusion* : I will give it a rating of 8.8 out of 10. Just go for it.
*MAKE SURE U GET THE 8GB VARIANT CUZ ITS NOW CHEAPER AND VALUABLE*
My husband has the S21, i dont care about having the newest best phones so I had the A20 but after a botched screen replacement Ive had to buy the a51, it was $100! I cant wait until it comes! Thank you!
Bought both my parents the a51, hope they like it!!!! :D
Bought my A51 Early February 2020 and till date i have not seen any need for another phone.. clean and clear pictures to my liking, can extend memory and does very good videos too .. battery still takes me all day at work so no complains ... like for all A51 users
I still really cant decide between A51, A71 & M31s. I love the big screen on the A71 and the processor. But the M31s has a bigger mAh and the finger sensor is on the home button. The camera and its pictures are better than A71 but ugh its so hard to decide😢😭 I love watching your videos, youre just so thorough and your voice is 😇😇😇
Check out M51

I just ordered it and it is very similar it's the white one it will be with me on January 6th, can't wait😂
Hey TechDaily, do you think this phone would be a great idea to still get in 2021?

I got the phone two weeks ago since my sister is renewing her plan. I got this phone at a lower price cashout and its way more better than my previous phone. And my version of Galaxy A51 has 8gb of RAM so multi tasking and switching of apps is a breeze. This is my christmas 2020 gift by the way and if your thinking buying a new phone that has flagship specs but not hurting your wallet then consider the Galaxy A51!

@@TechDaily Thanks a lot for your reply, you just earned a new sub
I got the 5G version of the A51 and it was great timing as two months later my telco introduced 5G in my area: 200mbps down and 80mbps up. 👍
Not a bad phone and worth it IF you have blue tooth headphones for calls
Also, Can not preschedule a text message from standard messaging feature like with my old Samsung.
I am dealing with these ISSUES because the camera is AMAZING!!
samsung: please fix the speaker issue. Please.
Thank you! I value speaker quality more than a camera so it's nice to see someone talk about it

@@L1sa-L1sa yeah, from Walmart
I've had this phone for a few months and I love it the only thing I'd change is giving it a snapdragon chip but other than that it's perfect
I am in the market for this phone and so thanks for the thorough review. It's good to get these types of videos for the consumer rather than what's bleeding edge.
I just got one brand new for $200!

it's still a value phone since it has 2 more years of updates to go!
@pangiospp i sold it & bought a S20. It's an infinitely better phone.

Is it lagg during daily tasks?
Needed this comment. I have an S8 and looking to change. I'll stick to S-series.
I finally save up enough money for this phone but then i realized the A52 might come up soon, so i waited a bit to see what improvement it will have and how much it will cost. Now, it's January 2021 and i heard no mentions about the new upcoming A52. So, i think I'm just gonna get this phone.
