I was confused at first then saw that he was yelling at a guy who broke open the plastic case the merchandise was locked in and ran out the door with bunch of stuff. Then when I left Walgreens and walked to the bus stop half a block away, another guy was leaning on the traffic light at the corner taking a dump. This was three blocks from an elementary school.
On the tanker, they use vacuum pressure to pump out the tank. If the driver let's it run too much it'll create a massive difference in pressure from inside and the atmospheric pressure outside. They need to remember to shut it off and vent the tank to return pressure. If they offload in cold conditions then move to warmer areas this can also cause the same issue on the train cars. I may have the hot/cold backwards here but I do remember hearing a lot about it

You boil the air (steam) out of a can, then plunge it into an ice bath, and the pressure difference (since the now cold air inside the can shrinks) crushes it in on itself. Hot expands, cold contracts, so hot to cold transitions are what causes implosions. I wonder if a two liter kept in a freezer, then the lid is put on it, and it’s plunged into boiling water, would cause a violent explosion? Don’t try this at home.
As someone who lives in Florida, I can confirm, that we know the storms in our area. Cat 1 or 2 hurricane is nothing, I'm not even going to stop working for that. A 3 is a day off, a 4 is a maybe scary and a 5 is "Move yo' ass or I will move it for you" lol
That X-Maxx hitting the pole was pretty cool how it stood straight up and down before slowly rolling over backwards. That’s a 20 pound RC car so that’s why it rolled over so slow after hitting that pole going that fast
Obviously, you can get hurt if the tornado turns, but turning tends to be based on what gets destroyed, what will feed the storm, and the terrain. You may live in an area where a tornado tends to follow one of those criteria more than others. I live in one now where the terrain really drives the path. When I lived in South Florida, I tended to be right about the path more than weather people regarding my area because I understood the terrain effects on hurricanes better. I had observed them for 25+ years. The ocean floor is relevant terrain as well. For tornados, sudden hills vs sudden plains are relevant. Meteorologists tend to stick with flow dynamics.

Yeah, people in places where hurricanes are common are similar to the person recording the tornado video... only we usually have weeks of warning before the hurricane comes, giving us plenty of time to stock up for a hurricane party

(so many years ago) in my classmates home, they also had a glass sliding door... every party he made, we sat on the couch and while partying, counted the ppl running into the door.
