  • CHILI RECIPE
    • 4-5 strips Bacon, chopped
    • 1 Onion, chopped
    • 1 Bell Pepper, diced
    • 3-4 Garlic cloves, diced
    • 1 - 1 ½ lbs Ground Beef
    • 2-3 T. Chili Powder
    • 1 T. Ground Cumin
    • 2 tsp. Paprika
    • 1 tsp. Oregano
    • 2-3 tsp Salt
    • 2 T. Tomato Paste
    • 28 oz. Tomatoes
    • 15 oz. Black Beans
    • 15 oz. Kidney Beans
    • 2 c. Broth
    • 1 Bay Leaf
    1. Add the bacon to a large stock pot and cook until crisp.
    2. Add the onion and bell pepper. Cook until tender then add garlic. Stir
    3. Add the ground beef and cook until brown.
    4. Add tomato paste and spices and cook for 2 minutes.
    5. Add the rest of the ingredients and stir.
    6. Bring to a boil then reduce heat to med-low and simmer for 30 minutes uncovered.
    7. Remove bay leaf and enjoy.
