    nice job, I often wondered how that was done.... does it have to be silver solder? why not braising? or, is that too hot for the tips?

    Good job, strong hands. Use magnets man. Will be easy to braze segments. And U heat segments much. We use hydrogen heater, very safely.

    Thanks for the video never realized it was that easy.. well not easy I mean it can be done by a layman. If I was shopping for the diamond segments what would I search for ? Is there a name for them .. I know that sounds dumb but I don't have a clue :(

      John, thanks for the information. I have some silver soldering experience and think this is something I can do. Will keep my eye out for the cups and diamond segments.

      That's not true! It's been 1 year now and there's no diamond segments listed for sale on their site.

      hilti sell's them. and segment. they cost about $2-$10 each depending on width 160 wide 250 wide and they also size depending on bit size 1/2 up to 18 inch pretty much once your at nine it's all the same on up
