Pulled a foil sorin, grim nemesis out of my shadows over innistrad fat pack.
One of the best packs I ever opened was a mirrodin besiged pack and got a Tezzeret agent of bolas, foil tezzeret. It was my first box of mirrodin besiged as well got 3 tezzerets out of that box it was insane.
I bought a rtr booster box about 4 years ago now i think and pulled 7 mythics from it i was blown away. I also just opened a pack of modern masters 17 and opened 3 misprint cards that all line up with each other ill send you an email with a picture of them theyre bizarre i was told by someone when i opened them that hes seen cards like them sell for 25 - 50 bucks for all of them...pretty good saying theyre all bulk commons
I bought a return to rav box in december at my local card shop for 80 bucks, Pulled a foil overgrown tomb and regular overgrown tomb! WIN!! I was happy with the purchase. :D
Eldritch moon was a great prerelease, I pulled a mythic in every pack. And 2 were foil mythics, a Liliana and a avacyn. And my promo was gisa and geralf. Apparently there was an issue with the original printing where packs with Liliana art on it we're almost guaranteed to contain a mythic.
Notification squad. RtR is my next target for a eBay flash sale. Been holding a quarterly 2 Headed Giant using old good draft sets. Done Khans and Gatecrash so far. Best use of these "older" sets that have a bunch of sealed box availability.
One time I was asking a worker and my lgs what kind cards from ather revolt gives +1/+1 to tribal (making a commander with zombies) if your wondering the commander was thraxximundar, i love it. anyways I dont have that much money and i wanted to go for whatever he was talking about, and there were 3 packs left. and i pulled a Chalice Of the Void invention. and that week i sold it on ebay for 140$ and made my thraxximundar deck, i won't ever forget that day

Blocks are now just going to be sets of 1. So dominara will be its own thing, it will go the next thing and so on. This is due to drafting being the most popular format in MTG and going to a different plain every set will hopefully keep things more exciting. A lot of people have been complaining about the last few sets not having enough originality. Don't really care what happens personally as long as good cards are printed, but that's the conclusion.
