Do some hard times I want to give up, but he wouldn’t let me so I have so much to be thankful for. I’m not alive because of God‘s grace and mercy this morning I could’ve been dead, sleeping in migraine or hardhead tried to quit on me, but God said no I’m not ready for you yet, so I have so much to be thankful for I have to give him all the praise and the glory this Christmas in spite of all the people I love, I’m still in the land of the living, giving him all the praise in the glory, and Jesus the same thing.😢

I see her love of people , with her new church she can touch the thousands of Houston who need her unique real life ministry. I love Kim ; on this night she was in rare form and feeling the spirit throughout the evening. From her thrashing her hair " giving God praise" within minutes of hitting the stage she was piping hot with ministry. Her candid observation about her past poor health destructive negligence that lead to her " walking heart attack" real life episode at the hospital. To her keen observations and advise to Praise and Worship leaders to read the bible before rehearsal so they wouldn't leave rehearsal misguided, lustful and fornicate with each other. Kim cut through , what she said she was going to remove in the first place: formality. She said, do you mind if we just have church. And that she did effectively all night.
kyle nourse Hi Kyle!! Yes, there was a "shift in the atmosphere" as they say when Le' Andria took the stage as it seemed it took some time with the musicians to switch off. It appears that Le'Andria's new husband is also her accompanist when she tours, as we all took notice when she said God got rid of the bozo's and gave her, her Boaz- remember that part? Le'Andria appeared out of sorts or the sequence of her songs had not been set. She fumbled humbly asking the congregation, " I want to do this song...is that O.K. or was that the spirit?" Her song selection and sometimes their execution seem overwrought with emotion that overpowers the musicality of the song. "Jesus" is such a heart wrenching song requiring such a depth of emotion and technique to execute I can't listen to it beginning to end some times. But Le' Andria barrels through that song so hard at times I think she's about to hurt herself. I know it's church but it can be unsettling to be truthful. Kim's delivery was organic and John P. Kee's performance was classic christian competence; But it also lacked the "it" factor that Kim Burrell brings. She indeed is a rare fusion of ministry and music. I see her new hombred hair color and I see Her effective style design in her usage of rouching to camaflouge her still stout tummy despite her courageous work in attempting to get it down. I see her trying in earnest to put her best look forward despite some real world challenges that have made being slim an elusive and unattainable joke. I see her love of people , with her new church she can touch the thousands of Houston who need her unique real life ministry. I feel Kim CAN connect with all walks of life and make them come to the Lord. I appreciate her open struggle with doing the right thing for her body. And her refusal to just wear unfashionable FAT FOLKS clothes. She tries as we all do but doesn't always hit the mark.I wish she had a church in New York City so we'd bask in her humanity and feel her annointing weekly.

Because the real is, she doesn't dress for the church going crowd per se and it's not her focus when she's singing for God. But alas I know she's a realist, as she commented on being 36 and walking into the emergency room having a heart attack, she would appreciate some straight talk, so long as folks weren't just inhumane in their comments. I love Kim ; on this night she was in rare form and feeling the spirit throughout the evening. From her thrashing her hair " giving God praise" within minutes of hitting the stage she was piping hot with ministry. Her candid observation about her past poor health destructive negligence that lead to her " walking heart attack" real life episode at the hospital. To her keen observations and advise to Praise and Worship leaders to read the bible before rehearsal so they wouldn't leave rehearsal misguided, lustful and fornicate with each other. Kim cut through , what she said she was going to remove in the first place: formality. She said, do you mind if we just have church. And that she did effectively all night.
kyle nourse Hi Kyle!! Yes, there was a "shift in the atmosphere" as they say when Le' Andria took the stage as it seemed it took some time with the musicians to switch off. It appears that Le'Andria's new husband is also her accompanist when she tours, as we all took notice when she said God got rid of the bozo's and gave her, her Boaz- remember that part? Le'Andria appeared out of sorts or the sequence of her songs had not been set. She fumbled humbly asking the congregation, " I want to do this song...is that O.K. or was that the spirit?" Her song selection and sometimes their execution seem overwrought with emotion that overpowers the musicality of the song. "Jesus" is such a heart wrenching song requiring such a depth of emotion and technique to execute I can't listen to it beginning to end some times. But Le' Andria barrels through that song so hard at times I think she's about to hurt herself. I know it's church but it can be unsettling to be truthful. Kim's delivery was organic and John P. Kee's performance was classic christian competence; But it also lacked the "it" factor that Kim Burrell brings. She indeed is a rare fusion of ministry and music.
