Meg, I am curious, how long did it take between the time you submitted to now? Lovely island too. I am impressed with your custom clothing in which you found the exact color of your skin tone for it.
@@juliabamford2543 It might actually be possible now that we have more design slots. You could spam flowers and blooming bushes for spring, use palm trees and bamboo for summer, decorate the fall section with mushrooms, pumpkins and all kinds of fruit, and put down a snowy/icy reverse path in the winter section. I have to say that I really like that idea.

This island is gorgeous! The tropical vibe is so relaxing and it's all so cohesive! Also, I've destroyed my island a million times and I still don't know what theme I should make 🤷🏼♀️
Might I suggest fairytales/folktales? Personally I really enjoy islands that tell some kind of story or are based on real world culture or traditions. I think Grimm's fairytales would be perfect for ACNH. You could easily build a lot of very memorable scenes from the stories and end up with a very diverse and fun to explore island. I'm currently rebuilding my own island and will most definitely sneak in a few fairytale references.

I would definitely choose the kidcore theme if i restart!! I never really liked it but pinterest made me fall in love with the cute and colourfull theme
If I were to have another island, the theme would probably be gothcore or maybe springcore. I like to try new island themes and I really haven't invested in those themes. Awesome video btw🙂

I currently have a really pink Fairy-core Island and I’d make a kidcore island. No question. I love the kidcore theme sm and I think it would kinda fit my personality? Hope that makes sense lol
If i had a 2nd island i would probably theme it around fairycore or cottagecore. My current island im lightly basing it on the Dynasty tv show. I named my character fallon after one of the characters in the show and my islands name is Dynasty. Im trying to make a posh sorta house
I haven't been able to get any new fruit for a long time. I have the basic peaches, I found pears on a trip with my nook ticket and coconuts from stealing trees and bamboo. I keep getting recipes with cherries or oranges, but I never get any. I'm on the Northern Hemisphere. Maybe they'll show up for Summer?
I ALMOST had a second island. I was going to borrow a second switch but it didn't work out - I was going to go for a hybrid castle/elegantcore type vibe. I was so pumped for it too =[ But considering I haven't' even finished my current tropical jungle island, who am I to complain about not being able to start a second island XD

Do you store your stuff somewhere on the island until you figure out where to put it? Or do you sell it and then just order it if you ever need it again? I guess I’m kind of a hoarder and don’t want to sell anything LOL

I love the aesthetics of the island! Mix of tropical and Hawaiian with the little bit of Jurassic park feel as well! Beautiful

Favorite part of the island has to be the bridge where all the trees and the dinosaurs are. That was just an exquisite view.

You can always build another house and use that for storage!
I just sell it. You can always reorder most of the items when you need them.
