Hello There, a great Video with a really well detailed and fantastic review of a decent affordable EV. Thank you for producing this. Cheers Peter :-)
I bought a 2015 Tekna two weeks ago as my work van (which I take home) is being taken off me in the coming months. It's only got to get me 10 miles a day and for that I think it's an excellent vehicle for the commute. However, likening the comfort to a high spec Mercedes may be one thing, but I can definitely say that it is nowhere near my other car which is a 2003 Volvo S80. That really is like driving around in your living room!
Really good review, we've had a 2015 24kwh leaf for over 2.5 years, totally reliable, only top up screen wash and tyres to maintain, never seen dealer servicing since we bought it. We just bought a new zoe 135bhp, great car...we all electric now.
I have had my 2013 Nissan Leaf for nearly 4 years now. I agree with everything you say about it driving well and having good space and checking most of the boxes. However, we don't have the same super great charging network, so for days where I want to go more than 60 miles, it comes up a bit short. For the price though, it was a great way to get into electric cars, which seemed impossible when looking at newer options.
Glad to hear you are enjoying your Leaf still! The charging network is certainly an area that needs work still but with new chargers going live every day, the future is looking very promising!
I disagree about its looks. It’s a pretty little thing. When introduced it didn’t look like anything else so people were quick to criticize. I fear how these EVs will age. Our throw away society might never allow them to become classics. Great channel
@@LasVegar yes ive owned the car for 7 months now , i did try both speed liniter and cruise control but i prefer just to drive the car normally. its just rural roads here no motorways. do love it to drive thou, leaf is a good car
I have the zen 1 acenta and very happy with it. 2013 till date, 11bars and 82% SOH. Japan made 12/12 and very satisfied

Fantastic to hear Robert! Be sure to subscribe to find out more about other EVs and soon some more generic EV information as well. Enjoy the new Zoe 🙂

Truly a brilliant car .Ikon
It really did show what is possible with EV.

I had the 24kwh Gen 1 leaf without b-mode and Cruise Control in China. And if get fully charged, the dashboard show up 152km of range.
I think it looks great..a I love mines
Great to hear you’re enjoying it 🙂
Even though Tesla cars made huge contribution to EV market. I love the fact it makes Tesla fanatics salty Nissan Leaf was the OG of mass market EVs. 😁
just bought a 16 leaf 30kw, so happy, its amazing :) its acenta :) no heated seats , does it have cruse control? how you switch it on?
Right side of the steering wheel, if not there - no CC in the car.
@@pawefiett2468 it has the buttons but no clue how to use them, scared to touch them to :)
@@lookoutleo if you press the brake you cancel the cruise control, so it’s quite safe to test, it also got a speed limiter

ive been offered a 16 plate leaf 30kw with 108,000 miles, its battery health 79% for £5k , what do you think ?
You will be hard pushed to find a 2016 Leaf at that price at the moment. Depends on your circumstances and mileage requirements really 👍🏻
Sounds almost too attractive to me!
30 kWh is pack size. I hope it has more than a 30 kW motor.
