So you've learned your bar chords. What comes next? The answer is 7th chords. And not just any 7th chords, but the ones that naturally occur inside of a key. Learning these new guitar chords will help expand your chord vocabulary while being easy to make use of in your chord progressions right away. And I won't just be showing you the guitar chord shapes in this lesson, I'll also sprinkle in some important music theory as well. could you maybe do a lesson like this for diminished, augmented and sus chords? An easy lesson like this showcasing the chords with A/E shapes (I know I can find that online but I find your tutorials more interesting)

How do I know when and when not to use 7th chords? I'm just experimenting rn but any tips y'all could tell me wouldmbe appreciated
Since these 7th chords are diatonic, they'll always technically "work". So the choice is up to you, if you feel like it fits the mood of the song better, use them!
That B minor 7 flat 5 can also be called or is the same shape of a B diminished? (Or semi, I forgotten the name of those chords)
Yes! The other name for a minor 7 flat 5 chord is "half diminished"
