I'm so proud of Meg man, she lost her dad at a young age, lost her mother who was her manager and inspiration right as she was blowing up, lost her great grandmother only a month after that, got shot, did performances, won Grammys AND did all this while finishing up her college education to graduate in December 2021! She's been killing it these past 3 years and this album is such a good insight into her mind. Love you Meg, keep running it up!! 🔥🔥🔥
edit: + Let's not forget she's been battling drama with her label in court as they've tried to stop her from releasing music. As of this new album release, she is free from her previous contract. Hoping for a smoother musical path for her in the future 🙏

I loved fever but something was missing for me when she dropped good news. But I’ve listened to this album and I feel like it’s a mix of this new Megan that’s palatable for new fans and old H-town Megan with grit and rawness. I genuinely liked it plus like she said she really got deep and kind of bared herself. The most important thing for an artist is GROWTH and i see that in Megan…she’s very talented and I’m here for whatever else she’s bringing out.
*Edit:* can I also just add this is a strong👏 ass👏woman👏she’s been through a lot of things all in the span of a couple a years. Stuff that could excuse her stopping but she’s constantly on her grind…if you don’t like her music you have got to appreciate and respect her strength.
I felt the same way! I do think this album is a great mix of Tina Snow and newly evolved Meg. It doesn't feel masked or "commercial" really enjoying it so far.
