Schaublin lathe spindle bearings: Part 1 - removal

How to remove the tapered inner race of the NN3009-K-SP (tapered inner) bearing from a Schaublin 102. The process is also applicable to the Schaublin 70 employing the NN3006-K-SP bearing. These bearings are used on a wide variety of machine tools including the Schaublin 12 and 13 milling machine - much of the approach taken here will be applicable to other machines.
