You are the only one who didn’t cry when Artex died

Dreams ARE important. Stay creative. Stay inspired. One little girl CAN be that important.

Both the dark crystal and this one are magically profound. You aren't alone.
I'll say the Secret of NIMH is awesome as well, if you are down for more incredible depression/awesome.

Wow! So enjoyable! The way you summarized it up at the end was EPIC! With you being a TRUE bookworm or book lover enhanced how you were able to relate to the characters. The advice you give to the audience to never quit and tell your own story, and keep pursuing your mission or your goal, was absolutely needed. 💚💚 Loved this movie! You ROCK!!

I'm a dude and I'm straight as an arrow, but boy did I have a crush on Noah Hathaway when this came out.

Better than all the grown men who sent creepy fanmail to the girl who played the empress and made her deciding to quit acting

This was a good review. I enjoyed your process…you put a lot of thought and humor into it. I have never seen this movie before but I love the concept. It legitimately never ends and continues with each reader. Loved it! Can’t wait for the next review!

Fun fact: Atreyu’s tribe, the Plains People who hunt the purple buffalo, are supposed to be like Native Americans, except with green skin (they decided not to dye Noah Hathaway green for the movie).

This is one of my favorite movies! The second one isn’t as good and the cast changes but I still enjoyed the story. You should check It out and I’ve never seen the third one but I know it exist

Yes I know the Dark Crystal. Love it. Love this one more. Lots of metaphor to mental illness. The desert of despair, the swamp of sadness (where you sink if you give into the sadness), and the idea of Fantasia, dissolving because people begin to lose their hopes and dreams

Sorry for bumping the curve. But I felt like it needed it.

I'm glad you enjoyed this movie. You should check out Willow for more 80s fantasy.
