I had one of these in my tank which was thriving. It grew and grew until it reached about 3ft in length. I had to move to the bath but my wife is not happy with that arrangement. It is now about 6ft in length and its tail is slightly protruding from the bath water at all times. Should I be worried? Do you think I have been sold a different species incorrectly?
Yo wtf these fish grow only about 4 to 6 inches max mine are 4 inches and haven't grown more than that. If yours is 6 feet long you definitely got sold a wrong species of fish idk if your trolling or not cant tell
@@aarongonzalez4458 I kid you not. I have since moved the specimen in question to an outdoor pool I had to buy specially. I managed to buy one second hand on eBay quite cheap. Just a little patch was required to get it into working order. I would estimate the fish at roughly 7ft long! I say estimate as I don’t have the strength to wrestle with the beast to take an accurate measurement. I have also contacted the original retailer for help. On their advice, I have stopped feeding with growth supporting food and switched to a colour nourishing blend. I have always been a keen and responsible pet owner but my wife’s hydrangeas have been somewhat squashed by the new pool already and fear that any expansion of the beast’s habitat will result to further loss of flower bed. Do you think the RSPCA would take him off my hands?
What do you mean by snow white like what kind cause I have a snow white yellow lab cichlids looks similar to this one but different species do you know what species is the white one or is it the same species as the blue one but albino?
@@jokesonyou12 I just found the name of the snow white cichlid the scientific name is pseudotropheus socolofi which is a blue purple color but this one in the video is an albino version
