Thank you:):):) I have been teaching for 17 years. These videos are exactly how I teach...only I don't stop and answer questions. I feel like I have to be even more organized making videos compared to live teaching. If I make a mistake, there is no one in the room to catch it! I am glad you like them so much. It is very cool to now be teaching the world as well as my own students! I am very excited about my new UA-cam project. Thank you again very much!!! Spread the word \:D/

Mr. Tarrou, I just want to say that while historically I've hated math and constantly questioned its usefulness, you make me glad it exists. To see someone able to take concepts and human constructions and convey them with such clarity and enthusiasm, even able to give me larger connections that I've never before realized...I believe that makes all the difference, and thank you for that!

You're welcome Zac, and THANK YOU! Students and comments like yours are why I love teaching:) I also appreciate that you took the time to share such a complimentary comment. It's a lot harder to groW an educational channel since there is not much about math to go viral but it will continue to be my dream to someday have an "M" next to my subscriber count, thanks for adding one more towards my dream by liking and subscribing:)

I must say, you should get an award for doing all of these videos... Sadly I believe math is one of the most under taught fields in school.. I greatly appreciate your videos! No matter what anyone else says to you, you have definitely impacted many many lives :) I guess that's why all teachers become teachers! my mom teaches, that's what she says at least ha.

+Techy2012 she's right...it certainly is not for the money:) One of my favorite quotes is: "choose a job you love and you will never have to work a day in your life" I find that most teachers teach because they love to teach and when you make a difference in that one students life, well thats something money just can't buy!!!
Thanks for watching and sharing your appreciation and thank your mother from one teacher to another:)

Well, what do you know... it never occurred to my stupid college textbook to tell me that the properties of logs were analogous to the exponent operation rules I learned in elementary Algebra. It makes perfect sense now to see why these logs expand the way they do: you add exponents when you multiply, subtract them when you divide and multiply them when raised to a power, cause logs are really exponents after all. Those first 5 minutes were enlightening. Thank you so very much! You are the best!

    • @profrobbob

I intend to clarity is important to me because many professors obviously know the math but cannot really teach it. I have singled you out because presently I am an undergraduate student pursuing a Teacher's Education degree with a concentration in mathematics. Professor I love your style and method of teaching. It does not get any clearer than this professor. (I will now be your student as well, for I have Calc 1 to 3 to complete in the near future, then comes linear algebra). THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU.

Denyese Gonsalves You're welcome and if you continue to feel passionate about teaching it will never feel like a job to you:) I have been teaching for almost 19 years and I still love it...UA-cam has just taken that passion to a different level, making it possible for me to help students all over the world from the back room of my home...BAM!!! Thanks for being one of those students and I look forward to helping you thru Calc 1:)

Professor RobBob, thank you for another great video/lecture on Using Properties of Logarithms, however the equal signs are missing in all five examples. There is an error in example four where you have a minus 5 instead of minus 3. In the Properties section, M and N are supposed to be greater than zero. This must be stated after the Properties.
